教材分析
本课时为新起点五年级上册第二单元Teachers的第一课时,这一课时有三个部分:A Look, listen and number; B Describe and guess; C Look and write. A 部分借助 Get ready 图和听力内容 情境化地呈现了7个目标词汇:wear glasses, slim, curly, straight, nice, young 和 teach;让学生 通过看、听、说、做等途径来感知并学习这些词汇。B部分通过介绍信息猜老师的游戏活动, 帮助学生操练词汇,并体会词汇在交际情境中的运用。C部分让学生根据B部分的介绍, 填空将介绍信息补充完整。
教学目标
【知识目标】
1. 能够听懂、会说 wear glasses, slim, curly, straight, nice, young 和 teach 这7个单词,尝试 借助拼读规律记忆单词。
2. 能够运用已学功能句操练本课新学词汇,对教师的外貌特征进行简单的描述。
3. 能够根据语境从wear glasses, slim, curly, straight, nice, young和teach中选择恰当的词填空。
【能力目标】
通过孩子结合自己的生活经验和已学的英语知识,能使用描写外貌特征的词语或句子。
【情感目标】
通过对本课的学习,让学生懂得使用本课重点句式与同学们进行交流,教会学生能对老师的外 貌特征进行简单的描述。培养学牛的观察力,使学生养成注重观察细节,观察主活的情感态度。

Step 1: Greeting

T: Good afternoon, students.

Step 2: New words

Step3: Look, listen and number.
These are pictures of my teachers.这些是我的老师们的照片。
This is my English teacher.这是我的英语老师。
She is slim and pretty.她很苗条很美丽。
She has big eyes and long, curly hair.她有着大大的眼睛和长长卷卷的头发。
She is a very good teacher.她是一个很好的老师。
And she's very helpful.她很乐 于助人。
She is my favourite teacher.她是我最喜欢的老师。
Mr wang is our PE teacher.王老师是我们的体育老师。
He is very young and I think he is very nice.他很年轻,我觉得他很好。
He can play basketball very well.他打篮球打得非常棒。

This is my math teacher.这是我的数学老师。
He is young and tall.他很年轻很高。

Step4: Describe and guess
Lily: She's my favorite teacher. Who is she Guess!

Lily: Yes, she is. She's Mrs. Wu.
Step5: Look and write

Step6: Homework
Recite the text well and practice the words.
