教学目标： 1.能初步听懂、会拼读、会写单词：a doll, a ball, a robot； 2.能初步听懂Happy New Year!What’s this/that It’s a …； This is for you. /This…is for you. / It’s for you. 3.能在情境中运用所学词汇和句型进行交流； 4.通过交流插图，观看动画，朗读课文等方式理解并学习课文内容，模仿文本进行创造性表演； 5.通过学习了解一定的节日礼仪和文化。 重点与难点 教学重点： 1. 能区分What’s this/that 的含义并正确使用； 2. 通过交流插图、观看动画、朗读课文等方式理解并学习课文内容。 教学难点： 在理解文本的基础上，发挥想象，进行创造性表演。
学情分析： 本单元的话题是“New Year”，story time主要是通过“互道新年祝福、询问礼物、赠送礼物”这一情境展开交流。新年是学生比较熟悉的节日，可以充分利用学生的经验进行导入和交流，唤起他们情感的共鸣。另外，可以通过图片、歌曲创设节日氛围，使学生身临其境，激活他们的思维。
