Unit 5 Famous People 课时: 第一课时
教材分析
本课是人教版小学英语六年级上册第五单元第一课时内容。本单元主要学习名人,能够听懂会说表示职业的词汇及国籍的词;能够听懂会说用来询问名人主要成就或出名原因的功能句;能够读懂介绍名人生平的小短文;学习名人优秀品质,获得人生启迪。本节课是第一课时,教学内容是学习描述名人国籍职业的词,能够用之前所学功能句简单介绍名人。本节课的学习将为本单元后面部分的学习打下基础,所以务必扎实掌握。
学情分析
六年级起学生已有五年多英语学习经历,有一定的语言基础。本节在描述名人时用了What do you know about... be famous for... be good at... 等句式,都是以前学过的,学生用起来不陌生。
教学目标
◇语言知识目标:能够听懂会说以下单词:inventor, invent, invention, writer, Danish, poet, poem, American, Danish,并尝试借助拼读规律记忆单词。能使用之前学习过的句子进行对话,操练本单元的主要词汇。能根据语境从上述单词中选择恰当的词或短语填空。◇语言技能目标: 培养学生借助拼读规律和其他词汇学习策略记忆单词,培养学生听的能力。◇情感态度目标: 初步认识名人,了解名人的优秀品质。能够积极参与课堂活动,并能和同伴合作完成活动。
教学重点及难点
◇教学重点:1、能够听懂会说以下单词:inventor, invent, invention, writer, Danish, poet, poem, American, Danish 2、能使用之前学习过的句子进行对话,操练本单元的主要词汇。◇教学难点:能根据语境从上述单词中选择恰当的词或短语填空。
教学基本策略及设计思路
本节课我设计时注重语言实践,关注培养学生的语言运用能力。通过创设接近生活实际的语境,采用循序渐进的语言实践活动,强调过程和结果并重的任务型教学方法和体验式教学策略。在教学中输入相关的语言信息,尽可能极大地提高学生学习英语的兴趣,激发他们的求知欲望,从而有效地提高学生的听、说、读、写和语言综合运用的整体能力。为学生提供展示学习成果的机会,使学生在个体和合作的实践活动中发展语言与思维能力,并在展示中感受成功。学生通过理解、操练、运用旅行的相关语言,帮助学生会用英语描述名人,在英语学习过程中感受名人的优秀品质。整个教学过程中设计运用丰富多样的教学策略来启发、引导学生掌握本节课的学习内容。采用认知策略,学生通过听,读所给文本获取信息,进而了解文本大意和关键信息。采用交际策略,学生在小组中学习倾听、参与活动,积极表达自己的想法。采用资源策略,学生根据以往学习经历描述课文以外的自己了解的名人。采用调控策略,通过教师对小组评价反馈,学生及时调整自己的学习态度和学习策略,实现语言综合运用能力可持续发展。
