Step 1: Pre-task
I. Warming up
1.Greet the whole class.
2. Say a poem: We speak English.
Listen and say. Then say the poem.
The teacher and the class listen to the ROM and say the poem.
3. Revision:
T: Now l am going to say some foods and you have to mime eating those things.
T: Apple/Banana/Hamburger.
Ss mime the actions.
When the teacher says the words: hamburger/chips/fast food, the teacher should ask the students about the meanings of the words.
T: What is hamburger
Ss:汉堡。
T:This is a hamburger. [ Presentation:hamburger]
Now please read the word after me.
Ss: Hamburger.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Mime the action: What am I doing (running, playing, jumping, etc.)
E.g. you’re running.
2. Look, I' m eating. I' m eating hamburgers and chips.
Teach: hamburger, chip
It ' s English fast food 板书fast food
3. Listen and repeat.
T: Open your books, please. Look at Activity 1.What can you see in the picture
Ss: Da Ming and Amy. / Amy is eating .Daming is thinking about noodles.
T: Now I'm going to play the CD-Rom. Listen carefully.
T: Listen again and read after the ROM.
T: The boys read Daming and the girls read Amy.
The students read the appropriate part of the dialogue. Then they swap roles and read the dialogue again.
4. Listen, point and say.
T: Look at Activity 2.What can you see
Ss describe the pictures.
T: Now listen to the ROM.
T: Listen again and answer the Qs.
