一、教学目标：
1. 正确听、说、读短语play football, watch TV, go swimming, read books, play ping-pong, play basketball.
2. 会用What do you do on Sundays 来询问他人周末做的事情；能够用play football, watch TV, go swimming, listen to music, read books, ride a bike等短语描述自己周末做的事情。
3. 拓展思维，创设真实情景，培养创新能力及运用语言的能力。
4. 培养学生的学习兴趣。
二、教学重点：
1. 能灵活运用本课的短语、句型。
2. 发音正确、清晰，并能正确运用语音语调。
三、教学难点：
让学生运用本课的短语来描述自己周末经常做的事情。
四、教具准备：
拼图、多媒体课件、CD-ROM.
五、教学过程：
Step 1: Warm-up
1. Greetings
2. Chant (A is for apple, B is for bat, C is for car, D is for duck and for dog.)
3. Show letter S, lead out: Sunday and Sundays.
Sentence: I draw pictures on Sundays. Let’s have a look.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Teach new phrases.
(1) Draws pictures on the blackboard, then teach the new phrases.
(2) Listen, do and say. (TPR)
(3) Teach to say.
(4) Speak quietly and loudly.
(5) Stick the cards under the pictures.
(6) To be “Little Teacher”.
(7) Games: Simon says.
2. Sentences.
(1) Teach to ask and answer.
(Teacher: I draw pictures at the park on Sundays.)
① Teach: at the park, on Sundays. (Show pictures on the projector.)
② Teach to ask and answer: What do you do on Sundays (Write on the blackboard.)
③ Call 2-3 students to answer. Then ask the Chinese meanings.
④ Teach to ask and answer.
⑤ Call 5-6 students to answer.
3. Practice.
(1): Do pair work, then show.
(2): Train game.
4. Text.
(1) Listen and judge.
