探究一： where 引导的特殊疑问句的结构
where引导的特殊疑问句用来询问某人或某物在什么地方，其基本结构为：
Where are + 复数形式的主语
Where is + 单数形式的主语
注意：该结构的主语可以是：the+名词 / 形容词性物主代词+名词 / 人称代词主格。

探究二： where 引导的特殊疑问句的回答
where引导的特殊疑问句不可以用yes或no回答，常用一个完整的句子，即“主语 + be动词 + 介词短语 + 其他” 。但要注意以下几点：
1) 为避免重复，回答时主语常用相应的人称代词代替。
—Where is the bag 包在哪里？
—It’s on the desk. 它在书桌上。
（用It指代the bag）
2）非正式场合也可省略主语和be动词，直接用介词短语回答。
—Where are my books 我的书在哪里？
—In the classroom. 在教室里。
3）如果不知道某人或某物在什么地方， 可以说“Sorry, I don’t know.”
—Where are they 他们在哪里？
—Sorry, I don’t know. 对不起，我不知道。
— Where are the keys 钥匙在哪里？
— They’re under the bed. 它们在床底下。
（用They指代the keys）

探究三：方位介词on/in/under的用法
on 在……上 一个物体在另一个物体的表面上，且两个物体之间有接触。
in 在……里 一个物体在另一个物体或某一空间的内部。
under 在……下面 一个物体在另一个物体的正下方，两者可以接触，也可以不接触。

探究四：名词所有格的用法
grandparents的名词所有格形式是grandparents’，意思是“祖父母的”。是以-s结尾的复数名词，应在词尾加“’”。
the students’ baseball 学生们的棒球

名词所有格表示所属关系，就是表示“是某人的”。
名词词尾加“’s”，主要用于有生命的名词后。
