一、教学设计(一)背景1. 主题语境:人与自我——倡导学生在日常生活中健康饮食,合理膳食。了解点菜的基本礼仪,养成健康的生活方式,树立积极的生活态度。2. 语篇类型:对话教学3. 授课时长:40分钟(二)文本分析本课是新目标英语七年级下册Unit 10 I’d like some noodles.第一课时,围绕着点餐(面条的种类及碗的大小)这一核心话题展开。要求学生能够运用would like来表达自己对食物的需求,从而学会订餐,并且在小组合作学习中培养学生的人际交往能力,倡导学生在日常生活中健康饮食、合理膳食,培养学生健康的饮食习惯和生活方式。(三)学情分析七年级学生活泼好动,有较强的求知欲和表现欲,但部分学生不自信、羞于表现。另外,他们在知识基础方面缺少丰富的语言基础,对某些任务的完成有一定的难度。针对这一情况,激发他们学英语的积极性尤为重要。本课以谈论面条为主要内容,贴近学生日常生活,比较容易激起学生的学习兴趣。我在课堂上创造了一个语言情境Ms Yu’s Noodle House,让他们有身临其境之感,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,让学生在参与英语各项活动时,能够更好地掌握知识。(四)教学目标1.语言知识目标:(1) 学生能掌握本课重点单词: noodle, mutton, beef, cabbage, potato, special, would like, large, size, bowl(2) 学生能掌握本课重点句型:A: What would you /he /she like B: I’d like… /He’d like… / She’d like…A: What kind of …noodles would you like B: I’d like…noodles, please. A: What size would you like B: I’d like a large / medium / small bowl.2.思维品质目标:学生能够掌握基本的听力技巧,锻炼捕捉关键信息的能力,从而培养学生形成良好的逻辑思维能力。3.学习能力目标:通过小组合作学习,培养学生运用英语交际的能力,学生能把所学到的语言知识和生活实际联系起来,使学习过程生活化。培养学生探究、合作的参与意识。4.文化知识目标:通过创设情景,学生身临其境感受和体验,使语言学以致用,做到“在用中学,在学中用”,激发学生的学习积极性,体会在活动中学习英语的乐趣。同时对学生进行情感教育,培养学生乐于与他人合作的精神,并且了解各地餐桌礼仪,学习不同国家的不同饮食文化,养成科学的饮食习惯。(五)教学重点(1) 学生能够掌握本课时的重点词汇。(2) 学生能够听懂并口头运用与点菜相关的重点句型。(3) 学生能够掌握听说的基本技巧,并学会用英语正确地表达如何订餐。(六)教学难点(1) 学生能够掌握听说的基本技巧,并学会用英语正确地表达如何订餐。(2) 通过Make a survey的活动形式,学生能够在小组合作学习中掌握如何订餐等用语。(七)教学资源PPT课件、单词卡片、视频、音频、教材、学案等。(八)教学过程Step1 Warming-up and lead in (3 mins) 1)Sing a song: What would you like to eat today 设计意图:通过歌曲制造轻松,活跃的课堂气氛,让学生积极主动的投入到英语学习中来,也为下一步的学习做铺垫。2) Create a situation: Welcome to Ms. Yu’s Noodle House.设计意图:通过创造Ms Yu’s Noodle House这一语言情境,让他们有身临其境之感,激发学生学习英语的兴趣Step2 Presentation (8 mins)1)Present the new words with food pictures.设计意图:通过幻灯片和单词卡片,让学生轻松快乐地学习食物的英语名称,美食图片勾起的不仅是学生的食欲,学习的欲望也一同被激发出来。2)Play a word game: Test your memory设计意图:通过单词记忆游戏,学生能够更好地掌握新单词,也增加了学生对单词学习的趣味性。Step 3 Work on 1a (2 mins)Match the words with the foods. Then check students’ answers.设计意图:通过图片和单词的配对练习,学生能够加深对单词的记忆。Step 4 Work on 1b (5 mins)1) Listen and check the noodles that the person orders.2) Check students’ answers.3) Listen and complete the conversation.设计意图:通过1b的练习,训练学生听懂新单词的能力,掌握听力的基本技巧Step 5 Pair work (5 mins)Work on 1c1) Make their own conversations using the noodles in the picture.2) Let some pairs act out their conversations. 设计意图:此环节为模仿操练, 要求学生用所学句型进行交际,主要渗透would like的用法,并能熟练说出新单词,训练学生的交际能力。Step 6 Listening (6 mins)Work on 2aPlay the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully. Then, listen to the recording again, and check the names of the foods. Check the answers. Work on 2bPlay the recording for the students to listen and complete the sentences.Play the recording twice. The first time students just listen. And the second time, students listen and write down the words. 设计意图:此环节进一步巩固了本堂课所学的词汇和句型。通过反复听读,可以让学生尽快熟悉生词,掌握听力的基本技巧。单词填空,是检查学生能否听懂并拼写所学单词。Step 7 Group work (6 mins)Work on 2c (survey and report)Four students make up a group. One student asks the others what kind of noodles he/she would like and fill in the chart. Then invite some students to report the survey results.设计意图:此环节既能充分练习学生的目标语言,使学生学以致用,同时也能尽可能给更多的学生开口说的机会。通过小组做调查报告的活动形式,进一步让学生掌握如何订餐等用语。培养学生探究、合作的参与意识。 Step 8 Summary & Exercises (4 mins)1) Let the student make a short summary of what we learnt today and show the theme of this class.2) Let the students do the exercises.设计意图:此环节能加深学生对本课重点单词、句型的印象,通过练习有助于巩固新知识的运用,同时对学生进行情感教育,倡导学生在日常生活中健康饮食、合理膳食,培养学生健康的饮食习惯和生活方式。Step 9 Homework (1 min)1) Recite the key words and expressions. 2) Design a poster for Ms. Yu’s Noodle House and introduce all kinds of delicious noodles in English.设计意图:作业内容是课堂的延伸,既可以进一步巩固课堂所学,又为下节课的学习做准备。该作业具有一定的开放性和趣味性,有助于培养学生的英语核心素养能力,体验英语学习的乐趣。板书设计
二、教学反思本课是本单元的第一课,课型为听说课,重在对学生进行听力和口语交际能力的训练。教学中,加强了听力方法的指导,利用听关键词的方法训练了学生听英语的能力,教学内容关于饮食,贴近学生生活,充分调动了学生的积极性,听、说、读的技能得到了较好的训练。著名教育家波斯纳提出:教师的成长=经验+反思。为了尽快促进自己的教学成长,我对这堂课作出了如下反思和总结。一、本堂课的成功之处1.备课充分,教学目标正确,体现了“以学生为中心”的课程理念。教学内容丰富,通过歌曲、图片的直观呈现,激发了学生积极参与课堂的兴趣。尤其是歌曲导入,充分调动起学生的兴趣。良好的开头对一堂课的成功与否,起着关键的作用。本堂课一开始,我就用有关食物的歌曲导入新课,使学生的注意力在最短的时间里被激活,导入也比较自然。2.课堂条理清晰,节奏明快,教学重难点突出。通过创设具体的课堂情境,激发学生参与活动的兴趣。教学活动的设计丰富多彩,训练方式多样化,有全班活动,师生互动,小组活动,同桌讨论等,在活动中突破难点,在活动中发展能力,这都训练了学生自主探究和合作性学习的能力。另外,板书设计也是一大亮点。图文并茂,激发了学生学习英语的兴趣。3.善于运用多媒体教学,传统教学与现代化教学手段相结合,营造了一个轻松和谐的英语课堂。教学方法多样化,讲练结合。教学内容贴近学生生活,整堂课下来学生参与度高,气氛热烈,教学效果较好。二、本堂课的不足之处1.整堂课下来时间比较紧凑,任务也比较多,又是第一节课,没有较好地全面顾及到后进生的学习状态,基础较薄弱的学生对于教学难点的内容掌握得还不扎实。2.在Step 7 Group Work小组调查这一课堂环节中,很多学生想上台展示,但是由于时间的关系,只邀请了两位学生代表上台展示。如果邀请更多学生上台展示,教学效果会更好。3.整堂课以听说训练为主,读写方面训练得相对较少。如果能适当增加读写任务,锻炼学生听说读写四方面的英语技能,教学效果会更好。 三、今后的努力方向1.上好一堂成功的英语课,不只是要备教材,备教法,更应该备学生。今后要多关注基础薄弱的学生的学习状态,做到因材施教。根据教学实际及时调整在自己的教学方法,尤其是讲授知识难点的时候语速稍微慢些,以便基础薄弱的学生能够跟上教学进度。2.在教学方法的设计上,应该针对初中学生的特点,突出落实激发学生的主体意识,激发学生的求知欲望,培养学生自主学习能力。老师只是课堂的引导者,学生才是主角。课堂应该精讲多练,把大多时间让给学生去发挥,效果会更好。3.作为教师,应该不断增强业务素养,深入钻研教材,认真进行教学研究。在课堂上特别注意调动学生的积极性,加强师生交流,充分体现学生的主导作用,让学生学得容易,学得轻松,学得愉快。在每一堂课上都充分考虑每一个层次的学生学习需求和学习能力,让各个层次的学生都得到提高。总结成败,反思经验,教师的专业素养和业务能力才能上升一个新台阶。在今后的教学生涯中,我将不断反思总结,向优秀的名师学习,交流经验,争取自己的英语课堂能够有新的突破。(共31张PPT)
