二、教材分析
本课是新目标英语七年级下册第11单元第二课时,是一节语法课.Grammar Focus向大家呈现了本单元的核心句型和动词过去式的规则与不规则变化。对于学生来说动词变过去式是一大难点,需要利用多种方法帮助他们记忆。3a是两封信,要求学生根据信件内容用括号内单词的适当形式填空来完成信件,这一任务的设置既关注语法功能,又为学生学习一般过去时态提供了合适的场景,能有效加强学生运用动词过去式表达过去生活的能力。3b则以游戏的形式让学生巩固目标语言,让学生进行头脑风暴训练,使其在轻松、愉悦的氛围中进行学习。
三、 学情分析:
通过上一课时的学习,学生对本单元的主题一谈论过去的事,有了初步的认识,并能围绕这一主题进行初步的交际活动。学生可以运用一般过去时态来谈论过去的一些活动,并学习了部分动词的过去式。学生了解了谈论过去要用过去时态,但动词的过去式如何变化,如何正确使用以及如何读出过去式,对学生来说还没有系统的认识。本堂课就要引导学生归纳、总结般过去时态的句式特点和动词变过去式的规则。这任务对于刚接触一般过去时态的学生来说较为困难,因此需要教师利用口诀等方法帮助学生记忆。

1.继续学习有关郊游的词汇,巩固一般过去时的用法。
2.掌握规则动词和不规则动词过去式的变化规则。
3.掌握一般过去时的肯定句、否定句和一般疑问句结构,并能用运用相关结构介绍过去的事情。
二)过程与方法:能通过语法学习并在情境中运用语法,提升学生对一般过去时态的运用能力。
