一、什么是目的状语从句:
目的状语从句用来说明事情发生的目的,通常用so that来引导。
二、目的状语从句的用法:
so that引导的目的状语从句中常常含can,may,will或should等情态动词;在谈论过去的句子里,so that 后面的动词通常与could,might,would或should连用。
当从句的主语与主句的主语一致时,so that引导的目的状语从句可以改写成含in order to 或so as to 的简单句。注意so as to一般不可放在句首。
