"Today, at 28, the young German Violinist Anner Sophie Mutter is at the top. She gives radiance (光辉) to the music," wrote Geoffrey Norris in The Daily Telegraph. Mutter was also one of the world's youngest professors.
Born in Rheinfelden on June 29, 1963, Anner Sophie grew up in Wehr, a small town just five kilometers from the Swiss border. Her father, Karl Wilhelm Mutter, and her mother, Gerlinde, considered music lessons part of a good education. Thus, their first son, Andreas, began practicing the violin at eight, and his younger brother, Christoph, had piano lessons. It came as no surprise when Anner Sophie said she wanted a violin for her fifth birthday.
Her parents thought she was too young for the violin, and persuaded her to start on the piano. But Anner Sophie has always had a mind of her own. "I longed to play the violin," she said. "It seemed to me a much more interesting instrument." After six months, her parents gave in.
The famous violin teacher Ema Honigberger, who lived nearby, became Anner Sophie's tutor (家庭教师). After only nine months of lessons, she entered for a nationwide competition for young musicians at six. With Christoph accompanying her on the piano, Anner Sophie won first prize.
In 1974, Ema Honigberger died. Anner Sophie's new teacher was Aida Stucki. She taught Anner Sophie to develop her own ideas of how a piece should be played, not just to imitate (模仿) others. This is one of the violinist's strongest, most distinctive (与众不同的) characteristics today.
Though the Mutters were short of money at times, they limited their daughter's performances to one or two a year. "No outsider (外人) can ever have an effect on our daughter's career or push her into playing more concerts than she wants to," said her father. Later she was allowed to give six to eight concerts a year and made some recordings. Only when she turned 18 did she begin her professional career.

Sometimes when I feel very depressed, or suffer setbacks, music can do its magic which helps me through unpleasant mood. Music makes me feel quiet and peaceful. When we feel happy, we can listen to some music which makes us happier; if we feel sad and frustrated, we can choose the music which gives us power and makes us refreshed. If we are introverted people, we can listen to the music which makes us more outgoing.
Above all, I've stated so many effects of music. We have so many beautiful melodies in the world which could make our life more and more pleasant. So I think we should thank the people who create music, who use rhythms to express various feelings and things as we use articles and languages to express our thinking. So nice! They create the great music, while music makes our world even better. I love music forever!

Dear friends,
I'm very honored to give you a speech on music. I'm Li Hua, I really enjoy watching a music program, and I have fallen in love with music, so I intend to form a band with my friends.
Four students make up our band altogether, one being the singer and the rest playing the guitar, the keyboard and the drums. As far as I am concerned, I have been playing the drums for almost ten years. Our music is based on Jay Chou, whose talent is admired. In addition, we are also fond of rock music, and I'd like to make some on my own. Our band is scheduled to practice our music in my room, which is the first step to success. Then we plan to give some performances in our school. We are wondering how we balance between study and band and what we can do to make it a successful band. We'd appreciate it if you could give us some suggestions.
We're looking forward to your reply.

Dear boys and girls, Dear friends, Ladies and gentlemen等,也可以不用称呼语,直接写正文。
3.结束语:发言结束时,一般常用“Thank you for listening!”“That's all. Thank you!”“Thanks a lot!”等表示感谢,还可以在结束时直接向听众提出希望、发出号召。
常见表达
1. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
2. I am very glad to introduce myself to you.
3. It is a great honour for me to speak here to welcome our guests.
4. Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of...
5. What I want to do this morning is to talk to you about...
6. To start with, I'll describe... Then, I'll mention... After that, I'll consider... Finally, I'll summarize my presentation.
7. That's all. Thank you for your listening.
