Unit 9 On and off
Teaching aims:
1. students will learn the new words: door、light、tap、window、Walkman、basket、TV、box.
2.students will learn the key sentences“turn on /off......”“close/open the……”以及回答。"
Important points and Difficult points:
1.To help the students say the new words and use the key sentences correctly.
2. Students can use the leaned knowledge in their daily life correctly. (难点是区分turn on 和turn off)
Teaching aids: word cards tape recorder
Teaching procedures:
Step1. warm-up
Greeting between the teacher and students.
（T: Now stand up , let' sing songs together …）
sing songs:a.Good morning ~ to you ~ and to you……
b.Hello ~ How are you (配上动作）
这里可以复习第五单元课文内容，加上 Fine / I ’m fine / Not bad .等的真实回答。可以让学生随机回答。黑板上可以先写上Fine / I ’m fine / Not bad .的回答句型
（T:yes very good ,thank you ,sit down please!）
Review :a.简单的复习单词
(T: show the word cards .and say “look at me! What ‘s this ……”)
Play a game: read quickly
b.操练句子,组织对话（P49 Look and say）
Let's go to … by …
以及回答：All right. /OK. /Good. / Great.
Play a game:look and say. (P51的大转盘游戏)
如果第八单元掌握较好，这里时间尽量短些。
下课一分钟。。
Step2 prensentation
Look and say
Teaching picture 3 and 4.
看动作猜句型引入open/close the door.
a) 可以用唱歌或chant的旋律。例如eyes. eyes. eyes. open your eyes. / eyes. eyes. eyes close your eyes. / mouth / the door. 跟老师一起唱并做动作，动作夸张些。理解open/close 的意思。 当然自己编个更合适的。
相信很大一部分对这一句型都有基础所以应特别注意引导小部分学生理解掌握，并注意close [kl uz] please [pli:z] 的发音。
b）可以拓展其他动作，如open/close the pencil-case / box book ……
c） 再由打开书本引出Nancy 的家。Where is it Here is Nancy’s home. Let’s go to Nancy’s home. 在黑板贴上相应的第四单元的几个的图片家具。
d)复习第七单元句型 Here ‘s the sofa. / table/ chair / 引出新单词television = TV （电视最好能镂空的。）
Teaching picture 1 and 2.
看图进行句型拓展，由TV 引出A ： turn on the TV. / turn off the light. B: All right . Ok . （一定要是完整的对话呈现在黑板上）
介绍turn on the TV.时可以将电视放在自己前，或者学生前，装作打开电视。turn off时就贴黑板上，显示黑屏幕。 turn off the light. 可以让学生动手关灯开灯。）
3．Practice
听录音，跟读（认真对比录音的语音，然后自由读，教师注意指导，分小组读，最后举手朗读展示）
Step 3 Look and learn
listen to the tape(P54)
show the word cards(认识各个单词)
door、light、tap、window、Walkman、basket、TV、box. 新词注意教学自然拼读法。d /d/ oo / :/ box 的 x / ks/ .等等
将这些相应的图片贴在黑板 Nancy 的家里，引导学生使用 open /close ,或是turn on /off, 可以让学生自己琢磨下用哪个句型结合这些单词。
这时告诉学生 两个之间的区别，一个是有打开，掀开的意思如打开门，窗，盖，瓶，盒子，信封，包裹等。另个一般是摁下开关，旋开的意思如打开水、电视、收音机、灯、煤气等
(T: look the picture and read it )
read after me （跟读，齐读，分组读，大声读……）
边结合对话朗读
play games: a. Listen and choose.(听读音看老师制作的卡片然后选一选)
b.touch the card .
Step4 Practice
课堂操练，做动作说句子（可以是老师做动作也可以是学生做动作，充分利用教师资源也跳动学生的积极性和同学直接的配合能力）
结合句型open /close ,或是turn on /off,
Step5.Consolidation
完成课堂练习，并检查学生的掌握情况
（P55注意以说为主，所以要先给予学生时间练习然后说一说。P56以听为主，所以要培养学生听的好习惯，保持安静集中注意力……）
Homework:
听读Unit 7—Unit 9 下节课课堂小测。
认真将单词拼写3遍。（二年级学生可参考完成）
可以布置些写的作业给三四年的学生回家完成。量不要太大。完成后有相应的印章。好，一般，的程度给印章。
