定冠词the的用法
定冠词the通常对所修饰的名词有限定作用，表示“这个、那个、这些、那些”。“Am I now on the moon ”中的moon是独一无二的事物，独一无二的事物前的冠词必须用the。
定冠词the的其他用法：
1.用在特定的人或物前面
如：The girl in blue is my sister.
The ruler on the box is mine.
2.用在形容词前，表示一类人。
如：We should help the blind.
The young should respect the old.
3.用在上文提到过的人或物前。
如：I have a book. The book is on the desk.
Tom saw a film last night. The film is
about animals.
4.用在序数词或形容词、副词最高级前。
如：July is the seventh month.
Mary is the youngest teacher in our
school.
5.用在某些专有名词前。
如：the People’s Republic of China

6.用在表示乐器的名词前。

7.用在习惯用语中。
