1.主语 + didn’t + 行为动词原形(+其他).

含有行为动词的一般过去时的否定句
People didn’t go by bus.
didn’t是did not的缩写形式，did是do的过去式。
行为动词又叫实义动词，如：open、eat、swim等。
2.主语 + couldn’t + 行为动词原形(+其他).
People couldn’t use the Internet.
行为动词原形。
could not的缩写形式。
含有be动词的一般过去时的否定句式是：
主语+wasn’t/weren’t+其他.
