2.教材分析：
本单元话题涉及的话题是“music and movies”，功能是“Express preference”，语法是定语从句。Section A通过四个人物谈论自己所喜欢的音乐，自然地呈现了本单元的语言结构——定语从句。通过学习Section A学生应掌握一些和音乐、电影相关的词汇，能够通过听和读获取有关音乐和电影的相关信息，了解that which who 引导的定语从句在不同的语境中的功能和作用，并能模仿和表达自己所喜欢的音乐和电影。
3.学情分析：
本单元的话题和音乐、电影有关，功能是会表达自己的喜好，适合学生年龄的特点，能激发学生的学习兴趣。语法方面，学生在八年级已经涉及到定语从句，对定语从句有所了解，但是并不会运用，特别是三个关系代词的用法的理解不够深入，这是学习定语从句的难点，老师应精讲多练，切记死记硬背三个关系代词的用法。九年级学生学习任务重，电影这种娱乐性话题贴近学生生活，学生容易产生兴趣，若本课时处理得当，可有效地维持学生的英语阅读兴趣，同时在贴近生活的语境中，学生也跟倾向于主动运用目标语言表达自身的观点、看法。
