1. Welcome to Class l, Grade 7.
欢迎来到七年级一班。
[指点迷津] welcome to...意为“欢迎来到……”，后接表示地点的词，若所接地点为副词，则可省略介词to。

Class 1，Grade 7意为“七年级一班”。class，grade与数字连用构成表示班级和年级的专有名词，第一个字母必须大写。就某班级及年级提问，用which。

知识点：12 years old的用法
[指点迷津] 12 years old的意思是“12岁”，在句中作表语。基数词＋days/months/ years＋old，表示“……天／月／岁”。就年龄提问，用how old。

知识点：love doing sth.的用法
[指点迷津] love是及物动词，意为“喜爱，热爱”，后接名词、代词、不定式或动名词作宾语，love doing sth.的意思是“喜爱做某事”。

我妹妹有只可爱的猫，她很喜欢它。
Simon loves playing football.
5. I love playing football after school.
我喜欢放学后踢足球。
知识点：play football的用法
[指点迷津] play football意为“踢足球”，注意球类运动前无定冠词the。
I can't play football but I can play basketball.
我不会踢足球但我会打篮球。
(1)动词play之后如果接球类、棋类等运动项目时，在名词前不加冠词。
play basketball／golf／cards打篮球／打高尔夫球／打牌
(2)play后接表示乐器的名词时，要在名词前加the。
play the piano／the violin／the guitar弹钢琴／拉小提琴／弹吉他
(3)after可作介词，意思是“在……之后"，其反义词为before。
Close the door after you，please．请随手关门。
(4)after可作连词，意思是“在……之后"，其反义词为before。
I read English after I come to the classroom．到教室后我读英语。
(5)after可作副词，意思是“以后，之后"。
Let me in first and you follow after．让我先进，你随后来。

Her hair is long. 她的头发很长。
He is short．他很矮。
7. He is from Nanjing． 他来自南京。
[指点迷津] be from意为“来自”，相当于come from。

知识点二：listen的用法
[指点迷津] listen是不及物动词，意思是“听”，其后接宾语时必须与介词to连用。
We should listen to the teacher carefully.
我们应该认真听老师讲。
9. Now let's meet Kitty, Amy and Daniel.
现在咱们来会会基蒂、埃米和丹尼尔吧。
[指点迷津] (1)let’s表示建议，“(让)我们……吧”，指与对方一起做什么，包含听话者在内。
Let’s join them，shall we 我们加入他们吧，怎么样
(2)let us类似表示请求，“(请)让我们……吧”，是表示请对方让我们怎么样，不包含听话者在内。
Let us join you，will you 让我们加入你们吧，好吗

他擅长数学。
[指点迷津] be good at的意思是“擅长于……”，后接名词、代词或动名词作宾语。
Helen isn’t good at school lessons but she is good at making models.
海伦学校的功课学得不好，但是她擅长制作模型。
be good at 的同义短语是do well in
