【学案导学】

二?阅读理解 It was a cold winter morning. The wind was blowing. There were only a few people in the street. There was a young girl in hospital. She was ill. She lay in bed and looked out of the window. She could see the people clearly. They were all taking or running, and most of them were happy. But the man died that morning.

一、教材分析
一)教材内容:冀教版英语九年级Book5 Unit1Lesson1 Higher , Faster, Stronger
二)教材内容分析:本单元的中心话题是“奥运会”。本课是本单元的第一课时,题目是“更高,更快,更强”,既是奥林匹克的口号,也是国际奥委会对所有参与奥林匹克运动的人们的号召,号召他们本着奥林匹克的精神奋力向上。本课课文围绕着“奥运会的起源,发展以及奥运选手”而展开的。学生通过本课学习掌握一些与奥运会有关的单词、短语和句型。使学生更加了解有关奥运会的常识,培养他们为国争光的爱国情感;在学习中发扬“更快、更高、更强”的奥运精神。
三)教学目标

词汇 1)掌握词汇及短语:modern, gold, record, event, twentieth, win a gold medal.
2)接触词汇及短语:ancient, medal, shooting, athlete, silver, bronze, sprint.

二、学情分析
学生已经学完了冀教版初中英语的前四册,掌握了部分描述自己、他人以及事物的词汇和句型。本节课是学生升入九年级的第一节课,学生对新课本有新鲜的感觉,而课本的第一单元的话题又是“奥运会”,学生对此会非常感兴趣。在教师预设的任务中,引导学生在交际中动态生成,学生对“奥运会”有话可说,乐意合作分享。这样就有利于他们更好地运用课本知识,达到提高综合运用语言能力的目的。
三、教学设计
一)总体思路
冀教版初中英语教材在话题、功能、结构相结合的基础上设计了许多易操作的任务型活动,提高他们的语言运用能力。课文教学是多种多样的,关键是处理好课文教学的三个环节,即:任务前活动(Pre-task)、任务中活动(While-task)、任务后活动(Post-task)。任务前活动主要是导入话题(Lead-in),激活背景知识。任务中活动主要使学生通过Listening, Reading, Free talk等活动理解课文,获取必要的信息,完成回答有关课文的问题。任务后活动主要是让学生结合所学的语言点,通过讨论,小组活动等活动,谈论“奥运会”,反馈学习情况。
二)教学过程
Step1.Lead-in
1、Play an Olympiad theme song “Oceania” at the beginning of the class.
2、 Ask the students: 1) At which Olympics was this song sung
2)When and where were the twenty-eighth Olympics held
3)When and where will the twenty-ninth Olympics be held
4)What is the call of the Olympics
[设计意图]
歌曲“Oceania”(海洋母亲)是2004年第二十八届雅典奥运会的主题歌。它是由冰岛歌手比约克(Bjork)演唱的。节奏强烈,感染力强,使学生迅速兴奋起来。这可以帮助学生更好地理解奥林匹克精神。然后以Olympics为切入点,通过学生回答以上几个问题引出 “Higher, Faster, Stronger”奥林匹克的口号,这也是本课的话题。学生对歌曲和几个问题非常感兴趣,调动了学生的学习积极性并激活了学生的思维,把学生的注意力吸引到这个话题上来。
Step2.Task 1 Presentation

2、Ask the students to listen to the tape.It tells the students the history of the Olympic Games.

通过提问和听磁带激活了学生对本课的背景知识。问学生与奥运会相关的问题,激发学生对奥运会话题的兴趣。在听磁带的过程中,学生不但练习了听力而且使学生对课文有深刻的了解。在本教学环节中巧妙地设置问题和听力材料,这样才能引起学生浓厚的兴趣。
Step3.Task 2 Say some Olympic sports
1.Ask the students to look at the pictures on the screen.
2. Divide the students into some groups and ask the students to discuss the Olympic sports in groups.
3.Have a competition .Ask each group to say out the Olympic sports as many as possible.The group that can say the most sports is a winner.

刚才让学生进行了听的练习,然后使学生通过视觉看图片,触景生情,从而激发其用所学语言表达的欲望。在小组中讨论,学生不但能涌跃地说出图中的运动项目而且还能说出图中没有的运动项目。中学生的好胜心强,适当的竞赛活动可以激发他们的兴趣。
Step 4 Task 3 Reading

先让学生阅读文章,然后看屏幕回答问题,可以帮助学生理解课文,掌握故事的基本情节,并能检查学生对课文理解的程度。接着把所有相关问题的图片显示在屏幕上,使学生看图片检查问题的答案,在进行此环节时,让学生二人一组进行活动、讨论,能加深对课文的理解程度,激发学生的学习兴趣,培养他们自主学习的能力。

Step 5 Task 4 Quick Quiz

name,call,make(使成为),choose(选择)等,常加名词或名词短语作宾语补足语。句式为:

一句中同时有时间和地点状语时,地点状语在前,时间状语在后。例如:

5) If you are twentieth, do you get a medal
如果你第二十,你得到奖牌吗?
此句是if构成的条件状语从句,if意为“如果”,当主句用将来时,从句用一般现在时表示将来时。例: If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, I’ll go fishing. 如果明天不下雨,我要去钓鱼。
twentieth 第二十,整十数的序数词变y为ie加th,例: thirty → thirtieth ninety → ninetieth
序数词作表语时,即表示“第几”时,前面不加“the”。

[设计意图]
课堂上的口头训练为书面表达奠定了基础,课内大量的语言输入又为学生的语言输出提供了有力条件,学生写作时自然会言之有物。此外,奥运会是时下的热门话题,学生比较熟悉,再加上提供的文字,因而降低了写作难度。
[教学反思]
本节课是在多媒体教学环境下实施的大容量、快节奏的课堂教学。首先,让学生听2004年雅典奥运会的主题歌“海洋母亲”导入本课,激昂的歌曲使学生具有身临其境的感觉,使学生很快地进入本课的学习状态,吸引了学生的注意力。接着,通过提出问题、听录音、观赏图片、竞赛、小组自由活动、抢答等教学活动,训练了学生听、说、读、写等多方面的能力,加强了学生对本课的理解程度。
整个课堂遵循了《英语课程标准》的要求,充分发挥学生的主体作用。设计的任务环环相扣、层层深入,拓展了话题的深度和广度,促进了师生间、生生间充分的交流和合作,使学生主动学习、主动探究和主动建构的语言运用能力以及他人交流和合作的能力。
