approve v. 批准, 赞成, 同意, 称许

agree, approve均含“同意、赞同”之意。
agree: 普通用词,侧重指对某事同其他人有相同的意见或想法。
approve: 侧重对认为正确或满意的事表示赞同或批准。作不及物动词用时,常与of连用。
in charge of 负责, 主管 (主语是人)
I am in charge of financial affairs.
He was left in charge of the shop while the manager was away.
in the charge of 由……管理 (主语是物)

more than的用法还有几种
● “more than+数词”含“以上;不止”之意 I have known David for more than 20 years. ● “more than+形容词”等于“很;非常”的意思
I assure you I am more than glad to help you. ●在“more...than...”中,肯定more后面的而否定than后面的,意思是“是……而不是……”

choose, select, pick, prefer均含“选择”之意。
choose: 普通用词,侧重根据个人意愿和判断从众多的对象中进行选择,着重被选者的优点。
select: 书面用词,具有庄严、正式的感彩。强调精选。
pick: 口语用词,多指从个人角度仔细挑选,也含任意挑选之意。
prefer: 强调个人偏爱,不一定有选择的行动。
