教材分析 本节的内容是PEP教材六年级上册第三单元My weekend plan B. Let’s talk。本节课是本单元的第四课时,通过Let’s try和Let’s talk的学习,要求学生能综合运用what,where,when引导的be going to句式来讨论比较简单的活动计划。
学情分析 (一)六年级学生已经学习英语三年了,具有一定的英语知识储备和学习能力。学生之前已经有接触到疑问代词what,where,when,已初步掌握what, where, when的用法,有利于本节课新知识的学习。 (二)这个班的孩子总体上不太活跃,大多数同学比较害羞,不喜欢并且不善于表现自己,口语较差,不敢开口,需要老师调动起来,有效激发他们的学习热情。 (三)学生差距较大,优生很优,差生也较差,在课堂教学时要注意分层教学,既要能满足优生,拔高优生,也能照顾到中差生。
教学 目标 (一)语言能力: 1. 学生能够听、说、认读句型:Where are you going I’m\ We’re going to… When are you going I’m\ We’re going to…What are you going to do I’m\ We’re going to ... 2. 学生能够运用句型What are you going to do Where are you going When are you going 进行某项活动计划的讨论。 3.学生能够用正确的语音、语调朗读Let’s talk对话。 (二)学习能力: 1. 学生能够在图片、实物或情境的帮助下,运用由what,where,when引导的be going to句式来讨论比较简单的活动计划。 2.学生能够区分、熟练运用句型What are you going to do Where are you going When are you going 并能熟练回答。 3. 学生通过感知、实践,培养孩子的英语口头表达能力及运英语的综合运用能力。 (三)思维品质: 1.在交际过程中,培养学生善于思考的思维习惯。 2.通过句型练习,让学生触类旁通,知识与知识之间产生正迁移,养成横向思维能力,锻炼思维的灵活性,扩充语言信息量。 (四)文化意识: 1. 能够帮助学生了解制定好计划并执行的意义。 2. 能够帮助学生树立正确的英语学习观,培养学习英语的兴趣。
重点难点 (一)教学重点: 1. 帮助学生能够区分并熟练运用句型What are you going to do Where are you going When are you going 2. 引导学生了解”about”的含义。 3. 引导学生理解Why not go on Tuesday It’s half price then.的含义。 (二)教学难点: 1. 单词visit发音较难,学生易发错音。 2. 句子It’s half price then.比较难理解,发音较难。特别是单词half 和price的发音难,可引导学生利用自然拼读法拼读。
教学方法 六年级的学生相对成熟,课堂纪律较好,喜欢与同伴一起学习。利用这个特点,本节课我主要通过情景教学法、游戏教学法、师徒结对合作进行授课。以小组合作的方式组织学生学习,提高学生的英语学习能力。

Let’s try 部分为了分层教学,设置两个任务,由易到难。第一个任务是听录音选择答案,难度较低。第二个任务是听录音回答问题,要求学生写下完整的句子答案,难度较大。 Let’s talk部分通过听录音回答问题,让学生对课文中的what, when, where等信息有初步了解;通过阅读判断对错,让学生再次捕抓课文中的细节信息,加深对课文的理解。 带着学生精读课文,帮助学生更好理解此对话。 通过举例子帮助学生更好理解”about”的含义和用法。 引导学生理解Why not go on Tuesday 的含义。这不是一个真的问题,而是提出建议。 通过举例子,引导学生理解“half price”的含义。 Step 4 Practice1.Read after the tape 2.Pair-work Two students a group. 反思:
一、研读教材,突破重难点
本节的内容是PEP教材六年级上册第三单元My weekend plan B. Let’s talk。通过研读教材和教参,我清晰地知道本节课的教学重点是通过Let’s try和Let’s talk的学习,让学生能综合运用what,where,when引导的be going to句式来讨论比较简单的活动计划。教学难点是单词短语space travel的发音与理解、句子Why not go on Tuesday It’s half price then.的理解。
为了突破教学重难点,我设计了一系列的教学活动。单词短语space travel 的发音较难,我在其下面加上音标,每次出现则鼓励学生运用自然拼读法拼读,不断地巩固。Why not go on Tuesday 则通过举例子引导学生理解Why not +动词原形,表示一种建议。Why not go on Tuesday 表明建议You can go on Tuesday. 并拓展Why not go swimming 即建议You can go swimming. Why not go to the cinema 即建议You can go to the cinema.并提前把最后一个环节编造新对话中的教学情境提到这部分来,通过创设情境,Why not go to Bolan Bookstore Why not go to Huang mama Restaurant 引导学生更好地理解Why not 的用法,并为最后编造新对话的输出做准备。对于句子It’s half price then.学生也较难理解其意思,其中half price的发音也较难。于是,我通过呈现一个苹果,半个苹果,一个橘子,半个橘子的图片,让学生感受an apple, half an apple, an orange, half an orange的区别,帮助学生更好地理解half的含义。通过呈现商品的价格,引导学生理解price,接着呈现商品半折价格,引导学生理解half price的含义。层层递进,最终引导学生理解对话中Why not go on Tuesday It’s half price then.的具体含义。在本节课的最后一个环节重编对话中,学生能够根据提示,在情境中正确用本节课的重点句型进行操练,则表明本节课能初步达到教学目标,突破教学的重难点。
二、分层教学,注重拓展
该班学生优差两级分化比较严重,根据本班学生的学情,本节课我注重分层教学,适当降低难度,照顾中下生,同时也注重拓展,满足优生。课本Let’s try部分,难度较大,要求学生听录音后,用完整的句子回答What is Amy going to do 和Is the ice cream for John 这两个问题并把答案书写出来。在第一次试教的过程中,我发现Let’s try部分的难度太大,很多学生写不出答案She is going to buy some fruit.和 No, it isn’t. 即使优生能听出答案,但也很难把整个句子完整地书写出来。于是,我对Let’s try这部分进行调整,把第一道题,改为选择题:( )What is Amy going to do A. She is going to buy some fruit. B. She is going to buy some comic books.降低其难度,要求学生听第一遍后选择正确的答案,再回答课本的问题,书写正确的答案。这样一来,难度降低了,差生可以根据选择题答案的提示,回答课本的问题,为学生搭建脚手架。而优生则可以选择自己回答。第二个问题Is the ice cream for John 难度较低,不要进行处理,大部分学生可以书写出正确的答案No, it isn’t.
基于教材,高于教材,在授课的过程中,我也注重知识的拓展。在讲到电影Travel to Mars时,拓展the Mars, the moon, the earth, 引导学生理解space 以及space travel. 讲到课本里的visit me时,及时引导学生关注动词+宾格结构,并拓展visit him\her\us\them. 讲到课本里We’re going to see a film about space travel.以及I have lots of comic books about space.时,引导学生理解about的含义,并拓展a book about science, a story about pigs, a film about lions.
三、以生为本,发散思维
随着素质教育和新课改的深入推动,我们提倡素质教育,学生是课堂的主导者,老师则是课堂活动的组织者,应以学生为主体,培养学生学习的主观能动性。本节课中,我通过一系列的教学设计,帮助学生掌握本节课的重难点知识,为学生搭建好脚手架,为学生最后的输出做铺垫。在操练句型What are you going to do Where are you going When are you going 句型时,我提供了几个例子,让学生师徒合作进行操练,让学生自己有机会说,敢于说,但在这个环节,我还没完全放开手让学生自己操练。假如我能鼓励学生,根据自己的实际情况,运用重点句型进行操练,则会更好。
在本节课最后的输出环节,我结合逢简小学学生的认知水平,精心设计杏坛镇宏汇城的纬度电影院、逢简水乡黄妈妈私房菜、自然公园这三个不同的情境,让学生在情境中更好地运用本节课的重点句型和知识进行操练,效果还不错,很多学生会说,也乐意说。但课后我反思了一下,除了这三个情境,我应该要增加一个更加开放性的情境,让优生可以操练,发散学生的思维。
四、不足之处
1.由于本人经验不足,刚开始上课时,我比较紧张,跟学生打招呼时发生口误,导致更加紧张,导入不太自然,幸好后面自己调整了一下,放松心情,也越来越投入,跟学生互动比较自然。
2.本节课,我缺少对学生语音语调的训练。我应该在朗读对话时插入升降调、重读符号,并在学生朗读时及时训练、纠正学生的语音语调。
3.本节课主要学习句型What are you to do I’m going to... Where are you going I’m going to the...When are you going I’m going...在课堂中学生能基本掌握you和I人称的问答,但很少出现其他人称的转换,如he,she,they等,应该在学生进行where,what,when问答时渗透更多人称。
纸上得来终觉浅,绝知此事须躬行,每一次磨课,都是一次成长,唯有不断学习,不断地实践,才能让自己不断进步。非常感谢学校给予我这次学习的机会,让我在一次次备课、磨课和展示的过程中不断提升自己。今后,我将继续努力,争取更大的进步。(共34张PPT)
