1.能通过上下文猜测生词词义。
2.读懂文章, 了解大熊猫的成长过程及保护大熊猫的措施。。

教学重难点:
1.通过阅读文章了解并描述大熊猫的生长过程及大熊猫面临的问题。

二、短语、词汇
1 mean (v.) 意思是,意味着 meaning (n.) 意思 meaningful (adj.) 有意义的 meaningless (adj.) 无意义的
2 beginning (n.) 开始,起初 begin (v.) 开始 过去式:began

三、句型(语法)
1. Eight months later, she was not a small baby any more/longer.=She was no more/longer a small baby.

句型It is + adj. for sb. (not) to do sth.
3. As a result, pandas may not have a place to live or food to eat.

(1)学习目标: 1.能根据上下文猜测词汇在文中的含义。2.能通过阅读了解名叫“希望”的大熊猫的成长过程、面临的危险以及采取的保护措施。
