Presentation
Teach “cat”
“Look at this gift. It has two ears (T says with body language) and its voice likes this(T plays the voice), so can you guess what is this .”
Ss:猫.
T: Yes, it is a cat.(at the same time T writes it down on the BB)
T teaches Ss to read this word by phonic and Ss read the word group by group.
Teach “tiger”
“Look at this gift. A cat, eyes like a cat, a tail(尾巴) like a cat, but isn't a cat Its voice likes this… So what is this ”
Ss:老虎.
T: Yes, it is a tiger.(at the same time T writes it down on the BB)
T teaches Ss to read this word by phonic and Ss read the word in high and low voice.
Teach “bird”
“Look at this gift. It is small. It can fly. It has short legs. So what is this ”
Ss:鸟.
T: Yes, it is a bird.(at the same time T writes it down on the BB)
T teaches Ss to read this word by phonic and Ss read the word one by one.
Teach “dog”
“Look at this gift. It has a tail and has four legs. So what is this ”

Practice
Guessing game
A volunteer come to the platform, and PPT shows the word to the class except the volunteer. Then the volunteer guess. If the volunteer is wrong, other students will say “No”. If the volunteer is right, other students will say “Yes”.
Acting like animals
One student come to the platform, look at a picture and then act i tout. The other students will guess what is it.
Consolidation
Please draw your favorite animal and introduce it in English as much as you can.
Homework
1. Copy the new words three time
2. Introduce your parents what you have learned about animals today
