There are 365 days in a year. We sleep 8 hours a day, so we have 122 days for sleeping. Then our work time has 243 days left. But there are 52 weekends in a year. Each weekend is two days. A serious earthquake can be a terrible experience, and it is easy to forget safety measures in disorder. Fortunately, most earthquake safety measures are common sense, but if you forget everything else, remember the following instructions: drop, cover, and hold on. Also most of earthquake deaths happen after the earthquake, so remember that the danger does not end when the shaking does
If you stay indoors during an earthquake, move away from unsupported areas and windows. Try to get under a doorway or another area of the building which is held up by strong beams. Stay under a table or desk only if it is very strong. Do not rush to lifts, because it is far safer to stay where you are. Cover your head with your arms around it and curl into a ball, and wait for the shaking to stop.
If you stay outdoors during an earthquake, move to an area which is as open as possible. Don't move to buildings, electric poles or other objects which may fall during an earthquake and injure you. Protect your head and stay low to the ground till the shaking ends and it is safe to move.
After an earthquake, many buildings are less strong, although they appear safe. If you stay indoors, move people from the building quickly and help disabled or injured people move out. Once outdoors, move well away from the building so that if it falls down, you will not be injured. Wait till public safety officials announce that it is safe to stay indoors.
By planning ahead and keeping calm during an earthquake, you can greatly increase your chances of survival (生存) without injury.

It is Oct. 24. You pick up a bottle of milk. You see "Best Before Oct.23" on it. What do you do with it Most people just throw it away. It’s a big waste.
The United Nations says that over one third of food goes to the trash. But 795 million people on Earth don’t have enough to eat. To change this, people have come up with great ideas. After all, the best place for food is our stomachs, not the trash.
Sharing food
People say, "There’s no such thing as a free lunch." But they are wrong. Recently, "share fridges" have come to cities like Shanghai and Quanzhou, Quick meals, milk, cookies and cakes are staying in the fridges. It is just like your fridge at home. The food comes from families and shops nearby. And it is free for every passerby to enjoy! This great idea comes from the popular "food bank" practice. We keep our extra money in a bank. In 1967, some people in the US wanted to do the same with food. They then set up the world’s free food bank.
In many people’s eyes, expired (过期的) food becomes junk. But a company from the UK thinks differently. There is a "Best Before Date "on the food bag. Before that date, the quality(质量) is the best. But after that date, the food can be still OK to eat.
So, the Real Junk Food Project, a British company, gets such food from supermarkets and puts it in cafes again. They don’t give the food a price. You can give whatever money you like. If you don’t want to spend money, you can help work there.
