Warming up and Reading 教学反思
在英语教学和学习中,阅读一直占据着相当重要的地位。阅读不仅能帮助学生获取信息、开阔视野、丰富语言文化知识,还能促进听、说、写等其他语言能力积极地发展;而且,阅读在培养学生的思维能力、分析能力和理解能力等方面有着不可替代的作用。
学生不喜欢英语阅读课有几个原因:
1. 词汇量有限,影响阅读的效果。对词汇理解和掌握是影响阅读的重要因素,从某种意义上说,学生的阅读能力与其词汇量是成正比的,词汇储备不足,又会导致学生阅读障碍重重,丧失阅读兴趣。
2. 缺乏有效的阅读策略与技巧。有的学生不懂得阅读技巧, 他们在阅读时往往从前读到后, 用相同的速度和方式理解不同文体的文章,而不是根据不同的文体采取不同方式获得主要信息,这样往往是事倍而功半,吃亏不讨好;也有许多学生在阅读过程中,试图记住所有的内容,习惯于逐字逐句地看,试图记住每个句子的意思,时间与精力过于集中于一些非考点的细节,而不善于通过整体阅读去把握文章观念和理念。
3. 课外知识面狭窄,英美文化背景知识单薄。有些同学阅读文章时, 对文章提及的事实或现象缺乏感性认识, 导致理解过程晦涩, 有时甚至会产生理解错误。因此,拥有较广的课外知识面和一定的英美文化背景知识会有助于学生尽快地进入阅读理解的状态, 迅速地把握文章的整体含义和思路。
4. 阅读动力与兴趣不足。阅读应该是一个积极主动的心理过程,而我们的学生由于上述种种因素的影响,对阅读产生畏惧心理,使阅读成为消极的应付和被动阅读。
本节阅读课在Warming-up部分是小测验,看看学生对加拿大这个国家的了解。教师展示问题,等学生回答完该问题后给出正确答案并就这个问题补充一些背景知识。由于时间限制,对背景知识的补充较为简单,也没有充足的时间给学生掌握这些背景知识。在Reading 部分学生都配合得还可以,本来的想法是使用分小组比赛的方式激发学生的兴趣,后来实际操作时还是取消了,以后还是准备多用一下分小组比赛的方法。到了Post-reading部分,是作报告,说一下为什么想去加拿大三个城市的其中一个,事先有让学生选一个城市查查相关除课本外的资料,学生热情较高,课堂结合课内课外的信息作报告,表现还不错。但是事后思考一下,其实活动可以改为四人一组,其中三人为三个城市的导游,一人为旅客,让这三个导游争取这个旅客,这样活动应该更有趣,只是对学生的英语表达能力和现场应变能力要求较高。

【教学目标】
1. 认知目标
a. 鼓励学生通过思考和讨论学习使用一些词语和句型来谈论加拿大
b. 了解加拿大的相关信息
2. 能力目标
a. 培养学生运用适当的阅读策略进行阅读的能力
b. 培养学生的理解能力,判断和归纳能力.通过不同教学活动的设计使学生在获取并消化信息后, 进行自然地输出, 培养学生的表达能力.
3. 情感态度与价值观
让学生对加拿大的地理、人口、文化等方面有基本的了解,培养学生的文化观。
【学生分析】
本单元的主题是加拿大,离学生实际生活比较遥远,如果只用教科书,学生学起来比较枯燥,但是,本班刚好有一个学生去加拿大温哥华留学,学生因此有了一定的兴趣。
【教材分析】
本单元的主题是加拿大-几人在加拿大的旅游经历。学生通过本单元的学习,可以初步了解加拿大的一些基本情况, 包括地理环境、各大城市特点以及人文活动等。
【教学重难点】
1. 如何让学生对加拿大的基本信息知道后印象比较深刻。
2. 学会方向与位置的表达法。

第一阶段:导入新课,热身

导入新课 引入 播放加拿大的国歌,引入话题。 (Through the national anthem above we know in this unit we are going to talk about “friendship” )展示课题 : Unit 5 Canada-“The True North” 引起共鸣,自然过渡,切入主题,说明本课的目的。
Warming Up (创设情境,激发兴趣) 小测验,看看学生对加拿大这个国家的了解教师活动:展示问题,等学生回答完该问题后给出正确答案并就这个问题补充一些背景知识。学生活动:回答小测验的选择题。 采用小测验活动,一来是为了激起学生学习的兴趣,另一目的但是让学生联系自己已有知识,为整个单元的学习做准备,温故而知新。
第二阶段: 阅读,围绕目标,整体感知

【教学评价】
语言教学评价应注重学习过程的评价,即评价学生的分析能力,表达能力,协作能力和创新能力。在“任务驱动”的教学策略下,可通过学生对课文的理解程度如何,反应是否积极,及表达是否恰当充分来进行评价.。我们鼓励以学生为中心进行教学活动,评价的形式、内容和方法应体现多元化。
学习过程的评价应更重视课堂评价,及时评价,及时反馈,增强感性认识。同时评价过程应是开放式的,评价方式可以是学生自我评价,也可由学生评价,这样,学生既是测评人,又是受评人,同时又培养了学生的自信心和综合能力。
【教学反思和回顾】
作为一节课,本节课的教学内容可能偏多,因此在执教过程中必须合理分配时间,紧凑地完成教学,如果掌握不好的话会影响教学效果。尤其注意一点,在课前,要让学生进行适当的预习,避免浪费时间,提高课堂效率。
