Review ＆ Rewards
【Teaching aims】
1) Be able to revise the words of food and numbers, to understand the phrase “How much”.
2) Be able to communicate in English in the supermarket scenes.
3) Be able to understand Chinese coins and British coins.
【Important and difficult points】
1) Revise and use the words of food and numbers. Teaching difficulties:
2) Be able to communicate buy and sell things in supermarket.
【Teaching procedures】
Step 1. Lead in
1. Greetings: Free talk. (复习打招呼、数字)
2. Warming up: sing the song “Ninety-nine bananas a day”
Q: What’s monkey’s favorite food （引出食物单词 并进行复习）
Step 2. Presentation
（一）通过free take复习食物单词。
e.g.: What’s your favorite food
（二）Do part 7a.
1) 引出 Colin 、Caroline and Rod 三个人名并领读。
Then show the picture of supermarket. And ask: What’s in the market (出示食物)
Now the three children come to the market,
2) Do you know what Colin’s favorite food is Have a guess!
Now listen to the tape and circle the things he buys. Q：How much
（三）Listen to Caroline’s and Rod’s . Then circle.
Then the teacher check the answers.
（四）Now listen again and fill in the table. Pay attention to write.
Then check the answers.
Step 3. Practice
（一） Pair-work : Practice the dialogues in pair’s .（注意名词单复数形式）
e.g. A: Two apples and one ice cream, please.
B: Here you are
（二）出示另一个超市情景，学生小组操练并展示。
Step 4. Homework
1. Practice the dialogue with you partner.
2. Write the words of numbers.
