一、教材分析:
本单元的标题为what’s the matter 话题为How to talk about our health。本单元围绕“谈论身体的健康状况”这一话题展开,让学生学习身体各部位名称的英文表达方式、表示生病或不适的名词和表示身体感觉的形容词,学生学会询问及描述身体不适的基本句型“What’s the matter (with you) I have a headache. I have a sore back ”,以及根据他人的种种不适提出建议的基本句型“You should go to bed. That’s a good idea. That’s too bad. I hope you feel better soon. ”;学会和理安排自己的生活结构。学会用should或 should’t 谈论健康状况。通过以上几个方面的学习,既能提高学生解决问题的能力,又能巩固所学知识。通过本单元的学习,使学生了解不同地域的生活习惯,也使学生懂得只有坚持煅炼才能拥有健康的身体,而且学会怎样放松自己。
二、学情分析
(一)初二学生总体特征:
1)学生心理特点:大部分学生进入初二后有了很大变化,前后差距拉大。前面的学生对自身的要求更加严格,学习态度更加端正。但后面一部分学困生表现了明显的厌学情绪,在各方面都有退步。
2)学生学习英语的特点:部分学生已经对英语失去了信心,还有一部分学生觉得英语越来越难,渐渐力不从心了,不感兴趣了,针对这种情况,教学的时候需要注意在备课中增加趣味性,以此来提高学生对英语学习的兴趣。
(二)本单元学情剖析
本单元的主题是讨论健康状况,学生可以采用采用调动已有知识和根据情境推测所表达的意思的学习策略,学习新词汇,掌握重点句型,又能提高解决问题的能力以及综合运用语言能力。
三、教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)掌握身体各部位名称的英文表达方式,;
(2)会表述身体的种种不适;
(3)能够询问他人情况以及给予他人建议 .
2.能力目标:能够用英语谈论话题our health.
3.情感目标:通过本单元的学习,使学生了解不同地域的生活习惯,也使学生懂得只有坚持煅炼才能拥有健康的身体,而且学会怎样放松自己。

五、教学方法
1.提问引入法 通过提问,集体,分组,分行回答,或学生逐个回答的形式开展教学,检查和巩固新旧知识。
