教学过程:
Step 1 Revision
1. Enjoy an English video. Ask “What transportations are in the song ”
2. Play the guessing game. Review transportations.
思路点拨:活跃气氛,在视频中复习各种交通方式的表达,让学生积极主动的思考,提高学生的听力能力。猜谜环节能激发学生的学习兴趣,在猜的过程中运用“组内合作,组间竞争”的小组合作机制,进行有关交通方式的新旧单词整合。

【重点和难点】
重点:掌握句型:How long does it take How far is it from…to … 要求学生能替换关键词造新句并在实际情景中自如运用。
难点:本课时的难点是:How long does it take It takes … How far is it from…to … It’s … It takes …中takes 易漏掉“S”。而且在人称转换时动词的正确形式学生仍旧较难准确把握。各种交通工具用next, then, finally等连贯起来运用时,可能会有同学运用不灵活。

思路点播:通过播放一组有关交通方式的视频,激发学生猜的兴趣,视频中出现的各种交通方式的表达,让学生的注意力集中到视频中的交通方式上,引导学生进入下一环节
Task2: Talk about different transportation.
出示各种交通工具的图片,让学生谈论日常的交通方式,回顾温习上节课的单词句型。

义务教育课程标准实验教科书鲁教版五四制初中英语初二年级第六单元How do you get to school 第 课时。
2.目标确立
(1)教材分析。
本单元以How do you get to school 为中心话题,围绕“traffic way”展开。主要是在学习和运用某种交通工具去某地表达法的基础上,运用How do you get to school 和How long does it take 询问如何到达某地,描述“去某地的交通方式、时间”。其教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流,这对于提高学生的综合能力,特别是实际表达能力很有帮助。为了让学生正确表达到达某地、距离、时速,进一步熟练掌握一般现在时的用法,可以引导学生通过描述路线、补充、联想与交通相关的词汇、利用各种车的图片及交通工具的模型等资源来扩展教学任务活动:扩大学生的思维、文化视野;教学重点是对乘坐交通方式和所花费时间进行提问和描述,教学难点是交通方式的动词描述(take a bus)和介词描述(by bus)。
(2)学情分析。本课的教学对象是初二年级学生,初二年级的学生经过一年多的英语学习,有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力,正逐渐向读、写过渡,随着英语学习的逐层深入,学生的语言基础已开始参次不齐,多半学生好奇心强,对英语很是感兴趣,但成绩有很大的不稳定性,少数低起点学生,对英语尚缺乏一定的听、阅读理解能力。为让不同层次的学生都能找到成就感,计划采用循序渐进的分层次教学方法,即:分层制定学习目标;采用综合素质发展的评价,科学划分学习小组,每组中设置一名英语优秀生,实施“兵教兵”教学策略。让学生在小组合作学习中,互相帮助,共同提高;对水平稍差者要适当给予鼓励和肯定,提高其兴趣,引导其积极参与的意识,逐步提高其水平。
教学目标:
第一,学习掌握交通工具的相关词汇:bicycle, subway ,car, bus, train, bus,train,bus station ,subway station ,ride ,walk ,minutes ,kilometers , thing, by boat,means等。
第二,能运用所学句型提问、描述交通方式、花费时间和距离进行提问:”How do you get to school / How long does it take /How far is it from… to … ”。要求学生掌握好助动词do在不同人称特别是第三人称单数后的变化。
第三,通过完成特定的交际任务来获得和积累相应的学习经验,达到能有条理地描述个人体验和表达个人的见解和想象、能传递信息并就熟悉的话题表达看法

通过播放一段有趣的有关交通方式的视频文件,引起学生的注意和兴趣,帮助学生逐步热身,整理情绪。并且以欣赏视频形式温故知新,扩展关于交通工具的更多英文表达。
二、创设情景,引入新课
1: Do you know them (以课件呈现本课单词:1.bicycle.bike.subway... take.by.get to等,引出各种交通工具和出行方式,并加以阅读训练,为下一步操练句型做准备)。
