A. Let’s read
教学目标:
(一)知识与能力目标
1.能够听、说、认、读Let’s read部分的对话,并完成课本上的练习。
2.能够用第三人称复述课文。
3.能够完成《活动手册》中的相关练习。
4.能够写一篇有关家庭成员的小短文。
(二)情感目标:
教育学生职业无贵贱,要热爱工作,享受生活!
教学重难点:
1.本课重点是巩固句型:What does …do He/She is a/an…
2. 本课的难点是理解、认读:He writes the TV show for my aunt. How exciting! How does she go to Hong Kong She goes to Hong Kong by plane.
课前准备:
自制单词卡:beautiful, TV show, How exciting!
有关职业的图文卡片。
CAI课件。
教学过程:
一、Preparation
1. Greetings:
T: Hello, boys and girls! Do you want to know something about me Listen carefully. I’m a teacher. I work in a school. I go to school by bike. I like playing ping-pong and watching TV shows. Do you know TV shows I like 《步步惊心》,I like 《倾世皇妃》。So, 《步步惊心》is a TV show. 《倾世皇妃》is a TV show, too.
What’s your favourite TV show (学生自由回答)
师拿出自制词卡TV show,带读,贴在黑板上。
(设计意图:由简单的自我介绍引出自己的职业、工作地点、爱好及采用何种交通方式上班。并通过学生十分熟悉且感兴趣的电视剧,引出TV show的教学。)
Sing a song.
T: We all like watching TV shows. And I like singing, too. Do you like singing Let’s sing together.
(CAI课件播放歌曲My Father Is a Doctor, 学生边拍掌边跟唱。)
(设计意图:通过唱歌活跃课堂气氛,并引出本课学习的主题:jobs。)
Review some words about jobs.
T: You can sing very well. Can you read Let’s read these words quickly.
(师出示一些有关职业的图卡,学生快速读出单词。)
Free talk:
T: I am a teacher. What do you do S1: I am a student.
T:(问全班)What does he/she do Ss: He/ She is a student.
T: How do you go to school How does he/she go to school
Ss: He/She goes to school…
T: What does your mother/ father do How does his/her mother/father do
Ss: He/She is…
T: How does your mother/ father go to work How does his/her mother/father go to work
Ss:He/She goes to work…
(设计意图:通过师生间的问答,操练重点句型:What does…do He/She is a/an…. How does…go to work He/She goes to work….作好本课语言知识点的铺垫。)
二、Pre-reading
T: Boys and girls, here come some superstars. How exciting! Let’s go and have a look!
(CAI课件出示一些学生非常熟悉的明星)
1. T: Who’s he Ss: He’s Zhou Jielun. T: What does he do Ss: He’s a singer. He sings songs.
2. T: Who’s he Ss: He’s Yao Ming. T: What does he do Ss: He’s a basketball player. He plays basketball.
(课件出示姚明投篮片段,让学生跟着呐喊:Come on, come on! 当姚明投中球时,师马上说:How exciting!并拿出词卡带读,贴在黑板上。)
(学生练读几遍后,课件再出示三幅图,创设情境让学生操练该句子。)
刘翔夺冠了!How exciting!
申奥成功了!How exciting!
中奖了!How exciting!
3.T: Who’s he Ss: He’s Cheng Long. T: What does he do Ss: He’s an actor. He acts on movies.
4. T: Who’s she Ss: She’s Yang Mi. T: What does she do Ss: She’s an actress. She acts on TV.
T: Is she beautiful Ss: Yes, she is.
(词卡带读beautiful,贴在黑板上。)
5. T: Who’s he Ss: He’s Lu Xun. T: What does he do Ss: He’s a writer. He writes books for us.
6. (CAI课件出示一幅学生不认识的男性人物图)
T:Who’s he (学生猜不出)T: He’s Miss Chen’s brother. What does he do
(课件出示)He’s a bus driver. He drives buses.
(课件出示句子:Sometimes he works here in Zhanjiang, but sometimes he works in Guangzhou.师带读一遍该句子,再让全班齐读。)
Do you know how does my brother go to Guangzhou (By bus.)
(设计意图:通过学生熟悉的明星人物,继续操练重点句型以及第三人称单数动词的用法。同时将课文中出现的一些难词、难句提前解决,为后面的阅读扫清障碍。)
三、 While-reading
(一)General-reading
(课件出示Amy 和 Wu Yifan 图)
T: Who’s she Ss: She’s Amy.
T: Who’s he Ss: He’s Wu Yifan.
T: They’re talking. Whom are they talking about
(让学生快速阅读对话,找出Amy 和 Wu Yifan 在谈论谁?师根据学生的回答将aunt 图和uncle图贴在黑板上。)
2.T: What does Wu Yifan’s aunt do What does his uncle do
(让学生再次阅读对话,找出Wu Yifan的阿姨和叔叔的职业。)
师根据回答板书:

(二)Detailed-reading
1.T: Do you want to know more something about them Let’s read the dialogue slowly, try to answer these three questions:
① Does Wu Yifan’s uncle write the TV show for Wu Yifan’s aunt
② Where does Wu Yifan’s aunt work
③ How does she go to work
(让学生带着问题仔细阅读短文,画出关键词句。)
师根据学生的回答板书:

Finish the exercises on the book.(让学生完成书本上的练习。)
(设计意图:在阅读文章时,问题的设计由易到难,循序渐进,增强学生的学习信心。除了课本上所提出的四个较简单的问题,我还增加了三个较难的问题,这能检查学生的细心程度与提高思维能力,让学生对阅读内容有更深层次的理解。)
(三)①CAI跟读对话。
②全班齐读对话。
③男女生分角色朗读对话。
(四)Retell the dialogue.
①老师示范。
②全班复述:Wu Yifan’s aunt is beautiful. She’s an actress on TV. Sometimes she works in Beijing, but sometimes she works in Hong Kong. She goes to Hong Kong by plane. Wu Yifan’s uncle is a writer. He writes the TV show for Wu Yifan’s aunt. How exciting!
四、Post-reading
1. T: Now, we have known something about Wu Yifan’s aunt and uncle. I have another friend. His name is Li Xiao. A TV repoter interviews him. What are they talking about
(让学生阅读《活动手册》中的短文,完成里面的练习,幻灯展示学生的答案,老师在评讲时注意授予学生阅读技巧:画出关键词句。)
2.Write a short passage.
T: Can you tell me something about your family members Now, let’s be little writers, let’s write a short passage about our family. Look, this is my passage.
(课件先出示老师的范文,再出示短文格式以及一些有关职业的英文单词,让学生仿照例文写一篇短文。)
(学生完成后,幻灯展示学生的作文,师进行评点。)
(设计意图:通过小作文可训练学生对本课语言知识点的综合运用能力,英语的书写能力同时也能得到很好的锻炼。)
五、Extension.
T: Different people have different jobs. But no matter what kinds of jobs, we should love our jobs, just like these three people.
(课件出示三篇小短文,让学生读一遍。)
1.She is a cleaner. She cleans the street. She makes our city beautiful.
2.He is a doctor. He works in a hospital. He helps the sick people.
3.He is a farmer. He works hard. He can provide food for us.
T: They have different jobs, but they like their jobs. We should love our jobs, too. Remember:(课件出示句子)No matter what you do, no matter where you work, enjoy working.
T: We should study hard now, then we will have good job and good life.
(全班齐读句子:Good job, good life!)
(设计意图:在此环节适当渗透思想教育,进行情感的升华:职业无贵贱,要努力学习,热爱工作,享受生活!)
六.Homework.
① Read the dialogue with your partner.
② Write a short passage about your family.
