1. be supposed to
be supposed to 表示“应该”,to是不定式符号,其后跟动词原形。
e.g. Teachers are supposed to treat all the students equally.
The new laws are supposed to prevent crime.
You are not supposed to smoke on the bus.
e.g. They are expected to make an announcement later on today.
She is expected to be a good doctor.
3. It is + 形容词 + 不定式
有时不定式前有for/of sb.
e.g. It’s hard to say which lifestyle is better.
It’s not necessary to get up so early.
It was kind of you to help us.
It is impossible for us to do two things well at the same time.
此类形容词常用的有kind, nice, good, polite, rude, patient, careful, careless, wise, clever等。
We ______________________________ more books.
You __________________________________ your bike here.
I ____________________ the letter this morning, but I forgot it.
Jack _____________________ English every morning.
