Firstly, Let’s enjoy a wonderful movie, I want you to answer a few questions after that ,ok Now, Let’s watch (watch a vedio of season changes)
T: ok, such a nice movie ,isn’t it Can you tell me how many seasons can you see in the movie What are they
S There are four seasons. They are spring, summer, autumn, winter.
T: Good job! but now I am wondering what your favourite season is. which season do you like best why
S: I like spring/summer/ autumn/ winter. because……
T: So we say every season has its own beauty. look at the pictures, read after me. spring spring
S: Spring spring. (use the same way to teach summer autumn winter)
T: Do you like them Let’s chant ”spring is green, summer is red, autumn is yellow, winter is white”(clap the hands and pat on the desk alternately)
Step2.presentation
T: Boys and girls, do you like singing
S: Yes!
T: So next let’s enjoy an English song ”how is the weather”(watch a vedio), let’s sing together.
S: How is the weather it’s a fine day. how is the weather it’s a cloudy day. …
T: Great! as we know, in different season we have different kinds of weather. suppose now it is spring. close your eyes, please. Let’s feel, what’s the weather like in spring (Hold a bottle of water and squeeze some water to the class) guess
S: It’s rainy.
T: Good job! Read after me, rainy, rainy. It is also warm in spring. warm warm.
S: Warm warm. (use the different volume from low to high to read the words.)
