it 做形式主语:
代词it可以用来代替一个名词、一个短语、一个句子,在句中作主语或宾语。
it作主语指时间、日期、天气、距离和气温等。此时,it无实际意义但不可以省略。
We often use it to refer to the time, season, weather, distance and temperature.

We can also use it as the empty subject of a sentence to replace a to-infinitive.
