读后续写技能-细节描写
动词是句子的灵魂！古今中外，无论哪种语言，优秀的作家都是动词表达的高手。【作者在写作时，应当精准地、贴切地运用动词，这样可以使不在场的读者时有强烈的画面感，如同身临其境一般。】同学们知道，在记叙文中有大量的动作的细节描写，所以同学们在写读后续写时也要遵循这一特点。
本节学案在于观察优秀的案例，从而加强学生们精准运用动词的意识及用具体动作去表达人物状态，本学案的动词及相关表达需要背诵，请同学们好好学习并加以利用。学生们平时也要扩充词汇量，积累更多的动词词汇。衷心地祝愿每一位高三学生能在续写上有所突破，人人有进步！
【举例：】关于walk的表达，如何才能描述贴切呢？
tiptoe vi. 踮着脚走；蹑手蹑脚地走（--to walk using tiptoes, so that other people cannot hear you）
She slipped out of bed and tiptoed to the window.

sneak vi 潜行;偷偷溜走= slip（--to go somewhere secretly, trying to avoid being seen）

stroll vi 散步; 溜达; 闲逛（--to walk somewhere in a slow relaxed way）

pace vi. 在…踱步（walking up and down it, because of anxiety or nervousness）
As they waited, Tom paced the room nervously.

The man gently wrapped the gift in yellow paper and placed the parcel in Reuben's hands.
Dora lifted the lid, tears beginning to blur her vision.
Seeing no other people notice us, I placed the Christmas present down and pounded his doorbell.
She didn’t say a word, but smiled and held my hand tightly.
As we shook hands with the new owners, I told them how fortunate they were.
He patted my head, and inquired: “Is there anything particular you want ”
She stroked her fingers through my hair, and said: “Of course .”
He was squeezing my wrist so hard that it ached.
He handed the letter to me, and three $20 bills fell onto my desk when I opened it.
Stevie pointed to me, and then at his mother, then pulled out one of the napkins.
“I'm Nancy Drew,” she said, holding out her hand.
The class clapped warmly as Ms. Lee presented me with the reward.
He reached into his pocket and withdrew a note.
Calmly he picked up the brush and started again to whitewash.

Then Lisa stood up and made her way through the crowd toward me.
She managed to climb onto it and waited patiently.
Tom rushed down Water Street, trembling with great panic.
Something terrible happened when Tom arrived at the factory.
Then, clutching the tin can, he headed for the shop.
Disappointed and frustrated, the poor man made his way back to his family.
Suddenly, the woman stood up and entered the house in tears.
I dragged myself through daily affairs, feeling exhausted.

The man stepped onto the platform to take a good look at the paintings.
眼的动词
We all gather in front of the television, praying to catch a glance of his face.
Seeing no other people notice us, I placed the Christmas present down and pounded his doorbell.
Singing happily, she gazed at her surroundings with large, innocent eyes.
The woman was staring at the girl eagerly, trying to make a conversation.
Then I examined each of the packages.
Her eyes fell on the photos of her.
When he finished he raised his eyes and looked out the window.
She had spotted a man pacing down the hall.
When the students stepped off the bus, James’s eyes widened in surprise.
We recognized the famous actor on his arrival.
Feeling nervous, he just stood there staring at me, motionless, wondering how he could deal with the problem .
Then he jumped up and down, eyes twinkling as he ran to fetch some gifts.
I was taking my time, strolling in the park and looking in shop windows.

Tom murmured a thank you and ran home all the way.
“Here, Mum! Here!” Tom yelled out as he ran to her side.
A young man came to the police station, surrounded by a group of journalists, declaring that he had spotted the criminal.
I was getting ready to blow out all the candles(蜡烛) and she’s getting ready to swallow the cake.
“Time to go.” I whispered to the girl, wishing she could follow me right away.
My teammates were all screaming as I dashed toward the finish line.
I picked up the ball one last time and grumbled, “Please just come to get the ball.”
Frank told Belle about his misfortune, and then sighed.
The house got really noisy at that time, with everybody hollering and shouting at the top of his voice.
The smile froze on his face; his mouth fell wide open.
He interrupted the silence with an announcement: “It’s up to you.”
“I haven’t finished; I need more time,” he begged, not joked.
She greeted James and inquired. “Are you ready for our trip ” But James didn’t respond.
“Isn’t it ” Mrs. Damon questioned.

She felt asleep and dreamed of seeing Tom.
Suddenly a tall figure dressed in a dark cape appeared before him.
Dr. Beck suddenly found himself in surrounded by a crowd of people when he woke up.
The little girl slowly pushes herself on the swing.
They are sitting outside in the cool night on a wooden porch, talking quietly.
One of them approached and asked politely if I would throw the ball back to him.
Wanting to appear agreeable, I bent down, picked up the ball and, eyes half-shut, threw it back as hard as I could.
Once I was on the bus, I crouched in a seat and shut my eyes.
In a flash my friend was in the car and gone, disappearing in a cloud of dust.
For a moment I just stood there, paralyzed (呆若木鸡).
心理动词
These events constantly remind me of my father’s absence.
I picture/imagine him walking through the window, wearing a shining smile.
Most days I hope that maybe he will show up one day.
At that very moment, he wondered whether he had gone.
He was determined to tell people the truth, but no one could hear his voice.
So the young man realized he had made mistakes, and he took the great courage to admit that.
I focused my thoughts on every part of myself.
We nodded our heads in agreement, understanding each other.
Somehow I got the idea it would be fun to waken my father by firing it.
I was wondering where he was. I had a new joke to tell him.
I was afraid to go to sleep, for fear that I would wake up the way I had been before.
Then I tried to figure out what I should do.
There was something I could accomplish there, I convinced/persuade myself.
I decided to get in the way.
From that one experience I learned that the most important thing in life isn’t the money you make.
I will cherish the happy memories for the rest of my life.
At this hopeless moment, a wonderful idea came to him. It filled his mind with a bright light.
Tom thought for a moment, was about to agree; but he changed his mind.
