summary:
The skin, which acts as barrier（屏障)against disease, poisons and the sun's (harm) rays, is an essential part of your body. So if your skin gets burned it can be very serious. Depending which layers the skin are burned, they are called the first, second or third degree burns. First degree burns makes an effect only on the top layer of the skin and it turns white when (presss). Second degree burns include severe sunburn and burns (cause) by hot liquids.
