My name is Sam. My favourite animals are camels and kangaroos.
The camels live in the deserts of Africa and Asia and eat grass. They can store fat in the humps on their back. So they can live for one month without water and food. They are called “the ship of the desert”
The kangaroo is an Australian animal. It eats grass and leaves, but doesn’t eat meat. It carries its babies in a pocket on the front of its body. With its strong tail and back legs, the kangaroo jumps across the grassland.
