形容词和副词的最高级
1.含义：最高级表示三者或三者以上（人或物）之间的比较。
fast — faster — fastest
He is the fastest runner in his class.
He runs the fastest in his class.
2.最高级的构成规则
（1）单音节词最高级词尾加-est（以-e结尾的词，-st构成最高级）。
tall — tallest fine — finest
nice — nicest high — highest
（2）以辅音字母加y结尾的双音节词，改y为i，加-est构成最高级。
easy — easiest happy — happiest
dirty — dirtiest early — earliest
（3）一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节词，双写结尾辅音字母，加-est构成最高级。
big — biggest fat — fattest
red — reddest thin — thinnest
（4）其他双音节词和多音节词构成规则，在前面加most构成最高级。
serious — most serious difficult — most difficult
carefully — most carefully clearly — most clearly

3.最高级的用法
（1）形容词最高级要加the；副词最高级前可省略“the”。
the most comfortable seats
sit (the) most comfortably
（2）最高级前有物主代词、指示代词或名词所有格等其它限定词时，不加“the”。

（3）三者或三者以上比较：the + 最高级 + of + 同类 /in + 比较范围。
Bill is the tallest of the three boys. 比尔是三个男孩中最高的。
China is the largest country in Asia. 中国在亚洲中是最大的。
