What’s today 用来询问今天是几号、星期几。回答时,通常含有星期和日期,一般星期在前,日期在后。

—It’s Friday, November 4th. 是十一月四号,星期五。

①What is/was the date... 意为“……是几月几号?”回答时要用日期。

回答时要用星期几。

2. look after his sister 照顾他的妹妹
look after意为“照料;照顾”,其同义短语为take care of。look after...well=take good care of...意为“好好照顾……”。
He is old enough to look after himself. 他足够大了,能照顾自己了。
