Teaching aims and learning objectives
1.能听懂、会读、会说、会用What do you/they like doing
What does he/she like doing 句型询问和回答某人的爱好。
2.能理解并掌握like doing 句型的用法及规则。
3.能完成Fun time 中的任务。
Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty
教学重点:能初步理解主语为第三人称单数时动词的变化形式。
教学难点:能在谈论爱好等话题中初步运用到主语为第三人称单数时动词的变化形式。
Teaching procedures
Step1.Let’s play
T: I like playing games, do you like playing games Let’s play.
Say the phrases or words quickly.
(设计意图: 复习与爱好相关的词组和单词,为下面复习课文做铺垫.)
Step2. Free talk
What do you like doing I like...
T: All these phrases are about hobbies.So what’s your hobby What do you like doing
S1:I like...
T:Can you ...well Great! You say”I like...(板书句型I like...)
T:What do you like doing
S2: I like...
T:Oh,you like...(板书You like...) Are you good at it
......
(设计意图: 通过与学生之间的free talk ,引出句型:I\We\You\They like....)
Step3 Let’s review
T:Do you remember what do they like doing
What does Mike like doing
S1:He likes...
(板书He likes...)
What does Liu Tao like doing
S2:He likes...
What does Yang Ling like doing
S3:She likes...
What do Su Hai and Su Yang like doing
S4:Su Hai likes...
Su Yang likes...
They like ...
(设计意图: 通过复习story time,引出句型并板书:He/She likes....让学生观察发现什么不同)
总结发现:当主语是第三人称单数时,用likes,当主语不是第三人称单数时,用like;like后的动词加ing。
Step4 .Let’s find
T:Here are some words. Can you put them in the right house
给出6组不同的动词原形和动词ing形式,把相同的放一起。并让学生说说为什么。
(设计意图:通过让学生自己观察动词ing的构成,让他们体会并感知这些动词是如何加ing的,发现加ing的三种不同形式,直接加,去e加,双写加)
Step5 .Let’s talk
Try to say more words in “ing”form.
Try to make a sentence with these words.
Introduce you and your friends hobbies.
(设计意图:由动词ing的操练过渡到说句子的操练,最后到试着介绍自己或别人的爱好,层层递进)

T: You know how to introduce one’s hobby. But how to ask
S1:What do you like doing (板书)
S2:What do they like doing
S3:What does he like doing
S4:What does she like doing
让学生观察板书,发现了什么?
当主语是第三人称单数时,用助动词does,当主语是非三单时,用助动词do.
Step7.Let’s read
T:These sentences are very useful.We can use them when we______.
Read in pairs,one ask,one answer.
Step8.Let’s practice
T:Do you know this part well Let’s check.
利用图片帮助学生巩固操练语法部分句型。
T:Look,they are talking about hobbies too.How do they talk
(设计意图:在图片操练的过程中,先是以让学生填空的形式,然后给提示词,最后让学生说完整的句子,同时也为下面fun time 部分的小组调查做铺垫)
Step9.Do a survey
T:Do you want to know your friends hobbies Does he like singing
Let’s find the answer in the survey.
How to do the survey Step1,choose a group leader.Step2,the leader asks the member his or her bobbies.then take notes.Step 3,the leader gives us a report.
Now I am the leader. ...What do you like doing

(设计意图:通过前面的巩固操练,进入到小组调查活动,由老师做好示范,然后4人一组,开展活动,展示环节比调查更重要,是检测学生是否会初步运用到所学知识,并通过提问其他同学以检测学生听的效果,这也是一项长期要坚持的日常听力训练。)
