Finally, it’s Thursday. In the charming autumn, our school held the annual sports meeting. All the teachers and students took an active part in the sports games.
Following the opening ceremony, various sports games, fun and exciting, attracted the audience. Laughter and cheers filled the playground. To challenge myself,I participated in the 1500-meter race. On the way, although I fell behind, I kept running until the finishing line.

(三)参考答案
I was about to give up the work when Mom’s words came to my mind. “Change your attitude and it’ll be easier.” Those words kept ringing in my ears. The dirt on my hands began to drop as if it was trying to take away my bad attitude. I went all out to work, singing and admiring each potato I dug up. Amazingly, I began to find harvesting potatoes interesting and meaningful. I said to Mom,“You were right. The work is easier.” She smiled and looked at me with approval. That day it really made sense for me and I carry those words in my mind until today. After all, work makes people happy.

Text 10
Hello, Mr. Jones. I’m Linda Brown, a tour guide at Sunshine Travel Agency. Are you ready for the trip Well, I know it’s your first time to travel by air, so I’d like to tell you what to do at the airport. Well, luckily the airport is small so you can’t get lost. As you enter, on your left you’ll see a lot of check-in desks. You should go to your airline desk, OK Once there, show your ticket and your passport to the clerk and place your luggage on the scales. Try not to have more than twenty-five kilograms altogether. Oh... and don’t check in your hand luggage, as you’ll be taking that with you on the plane. Then, the clerk will give you a boarding pass with your seat number printed on it. You don’t have to worry about the departure tax. It is included in the price of the ticket.
