Roman Holiday is a romantic comedy. In the film, Hepburn played a role of a princess. She got tired of her life and escaped(逃跑) while visiting Rome. She met a poor journalist, Joe, who showed her around Rome. They shared laughters and tears along the way. They fell in love with each other. The video we are about to enjoy was when Ann finally returned as the role of the princess to meet all the journalists, including Joe. Although they loved each other so much, it was impossible for them to be together again. When you see their eye contact without a word and how slightly Hepburn changed her emotion, you will understand why she succeeded in winning the Oscar for Best Actress.
