一、教学内容:本部分通过家庭族谱图(a family tree)呈现了要学习的六个家庭成员单词,汉语里,习惯把父亲的爸爸妈妈称作为爷爷奶奶,而母亲的爸爸妈妈称作为外公外婆,是两个不同的词汇,但在英文里爷爷和外公、奶奶和外婆却是同一个词。教师可以从勾画自己的家庭族谱入手进行教学,帮助学生构建家庭树的概念。
二、教学目标:
1.听说认读单词grandfather/grandpa,grandmother/grandma,brother,sister。
2.能借用全家福照片,大方、流利地用英语This is...向他人介绍自己的家庭成员。
三、教学重难点:
1.听说认读单词grandfather/grandpa,grandmother/grandma,brother,sister
2.用学过的句型和单词介绍自己的家庭成员。
四、课前准备:学生准备自己的全家服福照片。
五、教学过程:

3.播放多媒体歌曲I love my family.
4.Let’s enjoy the song.(听唱2遍)

I love my grandpa. I love grandma.

Meet Wu yifan’s Family.
5.The song is about Wu yifan’s Family.
6.看图依次复习mother,father,和brother.(这3个词汇在本单元前面部分已经学习(PPT先后呈现全家福--brother--mother--father).Yes,we know this is Sarah’s brother. (再次强调发音)
7.Who’s this woman She’s Sarah’s mother.
8.Look at this man.Is he Sarah’s teacher. No,he is Sarah’s father.
9.再次出现全家福的图,Sarah 介绍自己全家福照片:
Hi,I’m Sarah.This is my family.Look!This is my brother.This is my mother.This is my father.And this is my baby sister.(此时初次出现新词sister )
Presentation and Practice
1.Learnthewords:grandfather,grandpa,grandmother,grandma,sister
2.接上面的revision:Look,our friend Mike has a sister,too.
3.PPT呈现Mike介绍说:Yes!This is my sister. 教授新词:sister.
4.Let’s meet Mike’s family.接着Mike继续说Look!I have a big family.This is my sister.This is my brother.This is my mother and this is my father.
5.And who are they (四张祖辈照片同时出现),They are my grandparents.单独出示外婆的照片:This is my grandmother/grandma. 教授新词 grandmother/grandma. grand+mother=grandmother.From the picture.We know this grandmother/grandma is mother’s mother. What do we call them in Chinese (外婆或姥姥)
6.This is my grandfather /grandpa.教授新词:grandfather grandpa.grandfather=grandfather What do we call them in Chinese (外公或姥爷grandmother/grandma+grandfathergrandpa=grandparents(拓展个新词grandparents)
7.PPT进入爸爸的父母:These are grandparents, too.
This is father’s father. This is grandfather /grandpa,too.
This is father’s mother. This is grandmother /grandma,too.
What do we call them(father’s father and father’s mother ) in Chinese (爷爷奶奶)But they are all called grandfather /grandpa and grandmother/grandma.

六、Homework:
1.指听读P18至少五次,正确模仿语音语调,流利朗读或背诵,可以拍下视频上传班级微信群。
2.用家庭照片和同学进行视频对话或自己介绍。
