Are you the only child in the family If so, you are the most important in your family. Parents are the closest people to you in the world. But a lot of middle school students have a problem. They feel they're not as close to their parents as before. They even don't think their parents are fair(公平的) to them.
Some students complain that their parents often say a lot to them, but never listen to them. Some say their parents don't allow them to play computer games when other classmates are doing that. Others say when they're making phone calls to friends, their parents like to ask if they're speaking to a boy or a girl. These make them very unhappy. Some students even decide to leave home because they're afraid to tell their parents when they have done something wrong, especially when they do badly in exams. Then they usually think running away is the only choice(选择). But they don't know running away may bring them some more problems.
Problems are parts of life. Here are some suggestions for you to solve your problems.
1) Find a good chance to talk with your parents. Don't be afraid to tell them your feelings.
2) Get help from others like good friends or teachers.
3) Keep a diary to help you understand more about yourself and your feelings.

Fights at school sometimes happen. But how can you keep away from a fight Here's something you can do.
Be calm. Sometimes, you feel so angry that you really want to teach somebody a lesson. But being angry can't solve problems. Neither can a fight. Instead, it may bring you more problems. In the school, everyone involved in a fight will be punished, no matter who started it. There are no winners in a fight.
Shout loudly. If you know someone is coming up behind you to attack, turn toward the person with your hands up in front of your body and loudly say “stop” before walking away. A loud voice can usually make the attacker calm down. If the person doesn't stop, cry for help by calling out the name of a teacher whose office is nearby.
Your friend may ask you to join in a fight. Learn to say no. Helping him fight is not really helpful to him. If you really want to give him a hand, try to ask him to give it up. Also, you can tell him if he gets involved in a fight, he may get hurt and be punished. Then, try to learn why he wants a fight and help him find a right way to deal with the problem.

Whatever you want to call it, it's one of the most common and basic human emotions. Have you ever made it through an entire day without getting angry at something or someone Probably not and that is totally normal.
Just like other emotions such as happiness and sadness, there are many different levels and types of anger. "I'm so angry that I missed that question on the test" is different from "I'm so angry at my friend because she hurts me."
Because we're all unique, each of us deals with our anger on our own terms. Sometimes we express it in a way that feels good in the moment, but causes more problems afterwards. Sometimes we keep our anger inside because we don't want to make trouble—but that just seems to make us feel worse.
As you can probably tell from looking at the adults in your life, everyone struggles with how and when to express anger. But anger isn't something we should ignore or avoid. In fact, when we get to know our anger—what causes it, how we react to it and then learn how to manage it, it's a chance to get to know ourselves a little better and improve our relationships with other people.
( )1. What does the word "that" in Paragraph 1 refer to
A. People can't go through a day without getting angry.
B. Being angry is a common human emotion.
C. People can't deal with anger.
D. When someone hurts you, you'll be angry.
( )2. What does the writer want to tell us in Paragraph 3
A. People should deal with anger on a basic rule.
B. It is good to express our anger directly.
C. We'll feel better when we keep our anger inside.
D. People deal with anger differently at different time.
( )3. When we get to know our anger, it's a chance to .
A. know the adults
B. get to know ourselves
C. know the one who hurts us
D. know the levels and types of anger

Teens want structure in their lives, which means they want their lives well planned. To begin building structure, teens need love and trust. They need to know their parents are there to give them love and support(支持).Teens want to be sure that nothing can prevent parents from shouldering(负担) their responsibility for them—not their growing maturity(成熟),misbehavior, nor anger at something they have done.Teens want parents to keep control while allowing them to make some decisions.
There are some ways you can help your teens create reasonable structure and remain close. One way is to spend time together.Parents often mistake their teens' increased interest in friends for a disinterest(冷漠) in the family.
Teens would like to spend more time doing things with their parents, but watching TV is not counted_as spending time together. As your teens mature,it is important for you and your teens spend time alone together, one to one.Your teens need time to talk to you alone without any other family member present.
Talk with your teens about their interests and concerns.Make sure you really show interest in what is happening. When talking with your teens, give full attention and do not stop them.
The way to help your teens become adults is to let your teens into your world.Sharing your emotions and concerns with your teens is important.Avoid causing needless worry.
Trust your teens.Don't expect the worst.Hope for the best.Telling your teens you don't like their friends will cause the teens not to bring their friends home.If something should go wrong, believe that your teens didn't do it on purpose.
It is very important that you treat your teens with respect.Teens need the same respect adults show for total strangers.Don't talk down to your teens.
The most important things to remember are:talk with your teens, listen to their worries and offer suggestions when needed. This will help your teens to live a well organized life.

Bill: My favorite book is The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch (女巫) and the Wardrobe (衣橱) by C. S. Lewis. It’s about four children who find a magical land inside a wardrobe. A witch makes the land winter forever. The children help save the magical land from the witch with the help of Aslan, a great talking lion. The children become leaders. But then they come back to our world ... until their next journey in Narnia.

As students, what can we do to keep our daily life in order In my opinion, we should behave as follows.
First, while walking or driving on the road, we should obey the traffic rules. Besides, do remember not to carve or draw anywhere during visiting places of interest. What's more, making a loud noise in public is also a kind of pollution. It is as harmful as littering and spitting everywhere. Last but not least, when we go to the zoo or other public places, we should do as we are required. For example, “Don't jump the queue”.
Only when we behave well, can we live in a well ordered society.
