Get to know
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls, I’m glad to be your new teacher today. You don’t know anything about me. So get to know me first.
First, I’m nice and tall. I’m taller than most of you.
Next, my job is a teacher. I like English very much.
Then, I can sing and dance. I am happy every day.
Finally, I like Christmas. I always have fun with friends.

Culture tips: When Chinese get some presents, we do not open them at once. It’s impolite. But western people are willing to receive gifts and are accustomed to open them at the guests’ presence. And always remember to say thank you or give some praise.

1. 介绍春节Spring Festival
T: Christmas Day is a very important festival in Western countries. Spring Festival(春节) is a very important festival in China.
First, people clean the house and paste Spring Festival couplets(贴春联).
Next, we make dumplings and have a big dinner at New Year’s Eve.
Then, after dinner, we play fireworks and watch the Spring Festival Gala.
Finally, Spring Festival comes. We visit our relatives and friends. Children can get their lucky money.
