①辨析many,much和 lots of
(1)many意为“许多”,用来修
饰可数名词
eg: Are there many students in
his class 他的班上有很多学
生吗
I havent got many English
books.我没有很多英语书
(2)much意为“许多”,用来修
饰不可数名词
eg We havent got much work
todo.我们没有太多工作
要做。
Is there much milk in the
bottle 瓶子里有很多牛奶吗
(3) lots of= a lot of意为“许
多”,既可以修饰可数名词,相
当于many;也可以修饰不可数
名词,相当于much
eg: There are lots of apples on
the desk.桌子上有很多苹果。
We have got lots of meat at
home.我们家里有许多肉。
②辨析 too much和
too many
too much和 too many都表示
“太多”。
1) too much+不可数名词
eg We have too much work to
do.我们有太多的工作要做。
(2) oo many+可数名词
eg: There are too many
students in our clas.我们班上
有太多的学生。
③ be good for意为“对……有好
处;对……有益”,其反义词组
为 be bad for,意为“对……有
害的;对……有坏处

蔬菜对我们的身体有好处
Hamburgers are bad for you
汉堡对你的身体不好
