The Chinese Yellow Sea Wetlands are home for many different kinds of birds and animals. The world’s largest Milu Deer Nature Reserve (自然保护区) is in them. More than 700 milu deer live freely there. There are not many red-crowned cranes in the world. But every winter you can see some in the Red-crowned Cranes Nature in the wetlands.
The temperature in the wetlands is usually neither too high nor too low. There is a lot of rain and sunshine, too. They are really good places for wildlife Offering food and home for some special kinds of animals and birds is not the only reason why we need to protect wetlands. Wetlands are important because they also prevent flood (防洪) . But some people want to change the wetlands to make more space for farms and buildings. This means there will be less and less space for wildlife.
Luckily, more and more people are beginning to realize the importance of wetlands and wildlife. Every year, on February 2nd, many activities are held to tell people more about wetlands. They are homes for wildlife as well as ourselves.

When you think of the Arctic, you imagine an icy land of pure white snow. Others imagine it was the last really clean place left on earth. We have polluted the deepest oceans with plastic rubbish. “And now”, CNN says, “It’s the Arctic’s turn.”
German scientists have recently found microplastics in Arctic snow. Microplastics are pieces of plastic smaller than 5 millimeters. Sadly, the scientists found 1800 pieces of microplastics per liter of (每升) snow.
How is plastic pollution reaching the Arctic According to scientists, “It’s clear that most of the microplastics in the snow come from the air.” They fall off the plastic objects and are moved by the wind, just like dust. They mix with ice in the air and fall to the ground as snow. Finding these plastics in Arctic snow means that we may breathe them in.
Are they bad for us Scientists cannot answer this question for now, according to the WHO. We do know that our bodies cannot take in “large” pieces of microplastics. However, if the plastics are small enough, they can find ways into our bodies and stay there for a long time, which can be bad for our health. What’s more, earlier studies have shown that microplastics may contribute to lung cancer risk.
Microplastics have also been found in rivers and oceans around the world. Earlier research has found that they flow over long distances and into our oceans, hurting ecosystems along the way. They start in our wastewater, then flow into rivers and out to the sea, where they are eaten by sea animals. If people then eat these animals, it means that we’re eating the plastic as well.

Americans like to visit the national parks. In 1996, over 250,000,000 people visited areas which are managed by the National Park Service. Experts say that by 2020, 500,000,000 people per year will visit the parks. As a result, people are trying to think of ways to protect the parks from the crowds.
The crowding of the parks has caused several problems. One is that there is not enough space for all of the people who want to use the parks. To deal with this problem, you may have to book your tickets a few months ahead of time. The Park Service may also raise entrance fees(费). Another problem caused by increased park use is pollution. Some garbage and waste can be cleaned up, and the cleanup can be paid for by increased entrance fees. To cut down on noise pollution and air pollution, the number of car allowed in parks may be limited. If this happens, people may use buses to travel around the parks. Officials may limit the use of jet-skis, snow - mobiles, motor-boats, and sightseeing helicopters and planes.
The parks may also be in danger because of development that is going on around them. For example, around Yellow Stone Park, many hotels, golf courses, resorts, and other tourist attractions have been built. Some of these developments have effect on areas that are used by animals. People will have to learn to agree about ways to protect the parks. If they do not, there will soon be no reason to visit these national treasures.

根据第一段最后一句话“...inventors are coming up with creative ideas to try to reduce the pollution and noise.” 故选A。
since自从;So因此;Because因为。

them它们;us我们;it它。根据上文“... a U.S. company designed an environmentally friendly motorcycle. It uses electricity as fuel…It’s also quiet and fast.”
Instead of代替;Thanks to多亏;Because of因为。根据上文“There are no cars in the city center.”和空后“…water taxis and buses carry people along the city’s canals”可知,威尼斯的市中心没有小汽车,所以城市内部的运送就由水上出租车和水上公交车代替了。故选A。

根据上文“Instead of cars, water taxis and buses carry people along the city’s canal…”
