Direct Speech: Say exactly what someone said. ("...”; word for word)
Indirect Speech: Retell what the person said (no"...”; no “word for word”; changes)
We often have to give information about

Try to change direct speech into indirect speech :

One day, Snoopy said to his friend that it was the most ridiculous thing he had ever seen. He had seen that big dog. The dog had been ridiculous because no one would be that big. He had also seen that tiny dog. He had been ridiculous too because Snoopy hadn’t seen anyone that tiny. He said that some of them preferred those who were just the right size, and Woodstock was just the right size.
