第3课时 课型 Discovering Useful Structures
教学目标 1.To focus on understanding useful structures and distinguish types of tag questions.2.Ss can master the basic usages and answer ways of tag questions.3.Develop students’ speaking and cooperating abilities.4.Encourage Ss to get more about Sports Day.
教学内容分析 During this period, the discovering useful structures is tag question. The most important is how to use it correctly. Teacher inspires Ss to cooperate with others, then they can answer tag questions correctly.
教学重难点 1.How to enable students to have a good understanding and use the basic usages of tag questions.2.Let students master how to answer tag questions correctly and fluently.
教学策略 Pair work and group work, Give examples, Learn grammar through practice.
教学环节 教与学活动(师生活动) 设计意图
Step 1.Lead in 1.Revision: Teacher asks students the meaning of words and phrases they have learned last lesson (listening and speaking). Students answer questions loudly.2.Show the students a picture taken ten years ago and ask them to use one sentence to describe the picture. Then use the sentence “She is an attractive girl, isn’t she ” to introduce the key points: Tag questions. 复习导入,让学生集中注意力于上课。让学生模仿造句,引出本节课新知识附加疑问句。
Step 2.Presentation Part 1: Structure of tag questionsRead the conversations below and underline the tag questions and their answers.1. Amy: It’s not a real sport, is it Shen Qi: Yes, it is.2.Adam:That sounds interesting, doesn’t it 3.Julie: Sure, it does.4.Lin Tao: Hi! It’s a beautiful day, isn’t it 5.肯定式陈述部分+否定附加疑问部分(前肯后否)Eg:You are going to the library with me, aren’t you 你要和我一起去图书馆,是吗?6.否定式陈述部分+肯定附加疑问部分(前否后肯)Eg:You didn’t go skating yesterday, did you 你昨天没去滑冰,是吗?7.含有否定词的附加疑问句;当陈述句中含有seldom, hardly, never等否定意义的词时,后面的附加疑问句则为肯定形式。Eg:You have never been to America, have you 你从没去过美国,是吗?8.祈使句的附加疑问句:(1)肯定的祈使句的附加疑问句在句末加will you Eg:Don’t open the door, will you (2)Let’s开头的祈使句,附加疑问句用shall we (3)Let us开头的祈使句,附加疑问句用will you Part 2: Functions of tag questionsAsk the students to read the conversations again and find out the functions of the tag questions.Part 3: The intonation of tag questionsAsk the students to listen to the conversations and figure out whether the intonation of tag questions is rising or falling.1. Adam: That sounds interesting, doesn’t it Julie: Sure, it does. 1.学生回顾上节课内容,能更好的联系本节课知识点学根据对话找出附加疑问句的结构和回答,知道如何辨别附加疑问句。2.让学生通过对话理解附加疑问句的功能和作用。3.学生通过听对话录音来辨别附加疑问句中语调,引导学生自主发现和归纳:升调表示说话者对自己所说内容不确定需要对方证实;降调表示说话者希望对方对自己所说内容表示赞同。
Step 3.Practice Work in pairsPractise what they have learned using tag questions in active role-play. If the students like, they also can choose any situation in their daily life to make the conversations on condition that they use tag questions. 运用附加疑问句自编对话。学生也可以自己挑选日常学习生活中情境,准确恰当得体地运用附加疑问句。
Step 4.Summary Summarize the composition and the answer ways of tag questions. 巩固练习所学知识。
Step 5.Homework Make a conversation about inviting schoolmates to take part in Sports Day.
