第1-2课时 课型 Listening and Speaking
核心素养 1.Instruct students to get main facts by listening and motivate them to invite a friend to a sports event.2.Develop students’ different listening ability to solve different listening comprehensive problems by specific and key information.3.Guide Ss to learn the value of sportsmanship and patriotism.4.Help students to practice the different intonations of tag questions, and get students to know the emotions behind them. 5.Develop students’ sense of cooperative learning.
教学内容分析 In this period, the theme is “sports and fitness”. Students will have a general understanding of how to invite a friend to a sports event. And develop the sense of sportsmanship by listening and speaking as well as form a healthy lifestyle and good attitudes towards sports.
教学重难点 1.How to help Ss obtain key information by listening, develop their listening skills, and motivate students to invite a friend to a sports event.2.Help students to practice the intonations of tag questions, and get students to know the emotions of them.

教学环节 教与学活动(师生活动) 设计意图
Step 1.Lead in Show Ss a video to invite two students to compete. Whoever can speak out all of the sports events in the video is the winner. Winners from the team get 3 points. If not, 2 points. 以视频设计游戏,引出本节课的体育项目,激发学生对体育的兴趣,并为接下来邀请朋友参加体育运动的听力活动奠定基础。
Step 2. Pre-listening Show Ss some pictures about different sports events on page 36 to get basic knowledge about sports and invitation. 为学生创设体育项目的情境,增加对体育项目的认识,为后面的听力训练创造知识条件。
Step 3. While-listening 1.Teacher asks Ss to listen conversation 1 on page 36 and choose right answer about Shen Qi’s main purpose for talking to Amy.2.Ask Ss to listen to conversation 1 again and circle the words that the speaker stresses.3.Let Ss to listen to conversation 2 on page 37 and answer the questions. 1.看似在解释说明an e-sports event,实则在吸引并邀请他人加入。培养学生获取信息、整理信息的能力。2.培养学生听重读的语音能力。3.培养学生获取信息、整理信息的能力,学会抓听力的关键信息:when, where, what, how, why, how, 数字
Step 4. Post-listening Speaking: Pair work on page 37: What event or activity would you like to invite your friend to Make a conversation with a partner. 通过听的部分积累的语言知识输入,提高输出对话的能力,学会邀请别人。
Step 5.Pronunciation Guide Ss to listen the intonation of tag questions and understand the meaning of the rising and falling tones. You’re going for a picnic with me, ↗ aren’t you ... It’s cold today, ↘ isn’t it ... 通过听升降调,基础掌握反义疑问句中升调表示疑问的不确定,向对方询问真相;降调表示肯定,征询建议和看法,希望对方同意自己的看法。
Step 6.Summary Ask Ss to summarize expressions about invitation and what they have learned. 巩固本节课知识,学会邀请别人参加体育活动。
Step 7.Homework Ask Ss to make a conversation for inviting their friends to a sport event and practice the different intonations of tag questions with the emotion.
