第7课时 课型 Listening and Talking
核心素养 1.Instruct students to get main facts by listening and motivate them to voice one’s own opinions about sportsmanship by listening.2.Develop students’ different listening ability to solve different listening comprehensive problems by specific and key information.3.Develop students’ sense of cooperative learning and critical thinking.4.Guide Ss to learn the value of sportsmanship and patriotism.
教学内容分析 In this period, the theme is “sports and fitness”. When it comes to whether one should stop to help others during the sports event, the teacher instructs the students to voice one’s own opinions about sportsmanship by listening and talking and ultimately can form a healthy lifestyle and good attitudes towards sports.
教学重难点 1.How to help Ss obtain key information and develop their ability of listening and motivate students to how to voice one’s own opinions about sportsmanship.2.How to cultivate students’ logical and critical thinking to treat everything.
教学策略 Question-driven method, Task-based Language Teaching Approach, Individual and group work method.
教学环节 教与学活动(师生活动) 设计意图
Step 1.Pre-listening Lead in:Guide Ss to review the reading of last lesson and ask Ss what is sportsmanship. 复习导入,升华体育精神。
Step 2.While-listening 1.Ask Ss to listen to the conversation on page 41 and match each opinion with the right speaker. 2.Listen again and circle the expressions that they hear in the conversation. 1.提高学生把握特定信息的能力,能够根据听力中个人观点对应其人物。2.复习同意和不同意的表达法,为后续的Talking积累辩论的素材。此外,学生运动员可能会在工作中获得更大成功,因为学习良好的体育精神大部分是在学习尊重他人。
Step 3.Post-listening A debate activity :Divide Ss into two opposite groups to debate and express their opinions by using the expressions in part 2. 让学生从辩论中深刻思考和感悟体育精神,培养学生逻辑思维和批判性思维,同意与不同意没有绝对的对与错。
Step 4.Talking Ask Ss to talk about sportsmanship and choose one of the situations on page 41 and make a conversation by using the expressions of the part 2. 根据前面所学的语言表达用提供的材料表达自己对体育精神的看法,达到有效学习的目的。
Step 5.Summary Ask Ss to summary what the students have learned. 巩固本节课知识,强化训练本节课中用agreeing和disagreeing表达对运动员的表现和体育精神。
Step 6.Homework Complete part 3 on page 41 and ask Ss to find out at least 3 athletes that are internationally regarded as “Legends of Sports” and try to tell their stories.
