B Let’s learn & Match and say
一、教学目标:
1. 能够听、说、读、写五个描述人物性格等特征的单词:polite, helpful, hard- working, clever, shy;
2. 能够在情景中正确运用上述单词描述人物性格或品质等特征;
3. 能够完成 Match and say的图文连线活动,并根据连线结果展开问答。
二、教学重难点:
重点:
听、说、读、写核心词汇polite, helpful, hard-working, clever, shy。
难点:
在情境中运用核心词汇描述人物性格或品质等特征。
三、教学准备:
教师准备本课时的单词卡片及PPT.
四、教学过程:
(一)Warm-up(Revision)
1. 教师播放本单元歌曲,学生齐唱。
2. 师生谈论学生班级任课老师,教师提问,如:Who’s your Chinese teacher What’s he/she like Is she/he ...
(二) Presentation and practice
1. 教师课件呈现学生在校园和Miss White 打招呼的图片,问:What will you say to me when we meet in the morning 引导学生回答:Good morning.
教师说:Good! You’re polite. 然后板书 polite并带读单词。
2. 教师呈现一些场景,如:放学时遇见老师,公共汽车上遇见老人,拥挤的门口遇见同学,让学生表演这些场合中礼貌的行为和说话方式。
3. 教师利用课件呈现 Sarah主动帮助 Miss White拿书的图片,提问: What’s Sarah like Is she polite 引导学生回答后,教师说:She is polite. She can also help Miss White. So she is 引导学生说出完整的句子:She is helpful. 教师板书helpful并带读单词。然后教师出示几幅图片并问:Who is helpful 学生看图判断。
4. 教师收起图片后,请同学回忆,教师问:Who is helpful Who is not helpful 请学生根据记忆回答。教师适时表扬回答正确的学生,说:You’re so clever. 然后,教师出示 clever的单词卡片并带读单词。
5. 教师出示两个男孩的图片,说:Tom is clever. Jack is clever, too. However, Tom always does better than Jack in exams. Why 教师呈现Tom 用功学习的图片,引导学习回答: He is hard-working everyday. 教学单词hard-working,板书并朗读单词,引导学生根据发音规则拼写单词。教师问:Who is hard-working in our class 引导学生回答。
6. 教师呈现Match and say中的图片,并提问:What are they like What is she/he like 引导学生用刚刚学过的单词回答。最后呈现躲在妈妈背后的小女孩的这一张,问:What’s the girl like 引导学生回答:She is shy. 教学单词shy。
7. 教师提问:Does the letter ‘y’ here say /i/ 引导学生了解字母y在这个单词中的发音/ai/。
8. 教师课件呈现Let’s learn 板块的图片,问:Who is shy in this picture 学生看图回答,对门边的小男孩进行描述:The little boy beside the door is shy.
(三)Consolidation and extension
1. 教师播放 Let’s learn板块的动画,学生观看并跟读词汇。教师针对动画提问,如:Who is shy/hard- working/polite/... 学生凭记忆回答。
2. 学生独立完成 Match and say的连线活动,师生核对后同桌学生根据连线结果进行问答。
3. 教师利用课件呈现一段描述一名学生的文字,学生阅读后猜学生的姓名。然后学生四人一组进行“猜同学”的活动。
4. 认识自己,教师让学生通过笔头形式写一写自己,教师为学生提供文本范例。
(四)Sum-up
教师带领学生回顾本课重点词汇,渗透记忆单词的方法和策略。
(五)Homework
1. 正确的朗读本课所学单词。
2. 用所学单词说句子形容身边人物的特征。
