一、教学目标:
1. 能够完成 Lets try板块听录音选单词的活动;
2. 能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意;
3. 能够按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读对话,并能进行角色扮演;
4. 能够在情景中运用句型 What’s he/ she like He’s/She’s kind. 就人物体貌和性格特征进行问答;
5. 能够在语境中理解 Ms Wang will be our new Chinese teacher. 的意思并能正确发音;
6. 能够运用句型 What’s he/she like He’s/she’s… 就朋友或教师的性格展开问答。
二、教学重难点:
重点:
运用句型 What’s he/ she like He’s/She’s kind. 就人物体貌和性格特征进行问答;
难点:
在语境中理解 Ms Wang will be our new Chinese teacher. 的意思并能正确发音。
三、教学准备:
教师准备教学挂图、PPT和一位学生不熟悉的教师的照片。
四、教学过程:
(一)Warm-up(Revision)
1. 师生一起跟唱本单元歌曲。
2. 师生自由谈话,教师提间:Who’s your English/Chinese/science teacher Is he/she... 学生根据实际情况回答。
(二)Presentation and practice
1. 教师问:Who is Wu Yifan’s science teacher 引导学生回答:Miss Green.教师利用课件呈现 Miss Green的图片,追问:Is she young/funny/kind 学生回答。教师用PPT呈现思维导图。
2. 教师利用课件呈现一位学生不熟悉的教师照片并介绍:This is…. a new teacher at our school. Guess what he/ she is like.引导学生用ls he/she... 提问,教师利用课件呈现与上一步骤类似的图示,然后教师指导学生参考图示描述该教师。
3. 教师利用课件呈现 Wang,说:I know a teacher who is a woman. How should you address her 引导学生回答后,教师利用课件呈现 Ms Wang,然后适当介绍Ms, Miss和Mrs的区别。
4. 教师说:What is Ms Wang like Let's listen and find out. 教师让学生明确听力任务后播放 Let’s try板块的对话录音,学生听对话勾选正确的单词。
5. 教师说:Ms Wang is a new teacher here. Is she a Chinese teacher or an English teacher 教师播放Let's talk板块对话的动画,学生观看后找岀答案。教师问:Is Ms Wang John’s Chinese teacher now 引导学生回答:No, but she will be his Chinese teacher. 教师板书:will be our new teacher. 教师对 will be 做一下解释。
6. 教师说:Ms Wang will be John’s new teacher. What’s she like 教师又一次播放对话动画,学生带着问题观看。课件呈现思维导图,标出两个空椭圆形,让学生从对话中找出两个关键词kind , strict,引导学生回答She’s kind but sometimes she’s strict.
(三)Consolidation and extension
1. 播放动画,跟读对话并分角色朗读对话。
2. 教师呈现一组谈论老师的不完整的对话,让学生尝试将对话补充完整。
A: Mr Li will be our new maths teacher.
B: Really
A: He is tall. He is strong, too.
B: Is he kind
A: Yes, .Sometimes he’s .
B: Is he
A: Yes, he is very funny.
B: Great! I like funny teachers.
1. 教师呈现班级中任课教师的照片,鼓励学生在小组中选择其中的1-2位教师创编新的对话并课堂展示。
(四)Sum-up
教师带着学生归纳总结本课的核心句型和重点单词。
(五)Homework
1. 用正确的语音语调流利的跟读和朗读对话。
2. 用本课所学句型谈论身边的朋友、老师和家人。
