一、教学目标:
1. 能够在图片的帮助下读懂日记;
2. 能够在语境中理解robot, made, speak, finish的意思;
3. 能够按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读日记;
4. 能够选出描述 Robin特征的单词;
5. 能够“设计”一个机器人并写出三个描述其特征的句子。
二、教学重难点:
重点:
1. 理解日记内容,并能按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读日记;
2. 根据日记内容完成选词活动。
难点:
1. 句子He can speak Chinese and English. He makes me finish my homework.的理解和朗读;
2. 设计机器人并用句子准确描述其特征。
三、教学准备:
教师准备本课时的单词卡片、教学挂图以及录音或动画材料PPT。
四、教学过程:
(一)Warm-up(Revision)
1. 师生唱本单元的歌曲。
2. 教师利用课件呈现下列句子,请学生读句子并填充单词:
(1) He often says “Thank you”. He is
(2) She often cleans the room at home. She is
(3) Mike does homework everyday. He is
(4) Robin can speak Chinese and English. He is
学生说出clever后,教师引导学生拼读speak,解释该词的意思。教师提问:Can you speak Chinese and English 引导学生用完整的句子回答。
(二)Presentation and practice
1. 教师说:Wu Yifan has a new friend. He can speak Chinese and English, too. He is very clever. Who is he 引导学生猜测,最后教师出示机器人 Robin的图片,说:Look! He is a robot. 教师板书 robot并带读单词,引导学生关注o的发音。
2. 教师问:Do you want to know more about the robot 学生回答后,教师利用课件呈现日记内容。教师指着日期的位置,解释Sep.1st和 Tuesday的意思,然后带读几遍,引导学生关注日记格式。
3. 教师提问:What’s the robot’s name Let’s read.课件呈现第1段文字,学生快速阅读并回答问题:His name is Robin. 教帅继续提问:Who made Robin 引导学生回答:Wu Yifan’s grandpa made him.
4. 教师板书made并带读单词,然后出示一台旧电话机的图片,提问:Who made the first phone/plane 教师用课件出示答案。
5. 学生跟课件朗读第1段文字。
6. 课件呈现思维导图,教师说:Robin is clever. What else do you know about him 请学生阅读第2-4段文字并,带着任务寻找文本中的关键信息。
7. 教师说:What’s Robin like 请几名学生回答并拼写关键词完成上图。教师提问:Is Robin hard- working/ strict 并追问why 引导学生根据日记内容聚焦相关句子:He is very helpful at home. He makes me finish my homework.
8. 教师提问:Does your mother/father strict Who makes you finish your homework. 引导学生尝试模仿说出句子:My mother/father makes me finish my homework.
(三) Consolidation and extension
1. 教师播放课件,学生跟读,后分小组合作朗读并展示。
2. 学生完成 Read and tick or cross的活动。
3. 学生参考课件中的思维导图描述 Robin并展示。
4. 教师说:Do you want to have a robot, too You can design one and draw it.学生在教材上画出自己设计的机器人。教师提问:What’s your robot like 请一名学生用三句话描述自己设计的机器人。然后教师指导学生在教材上写出三个描述自己设计的机器人的句子。
(四) Sum-up
教师带着学生用思维导图回顾本课关于Robin的日记内容。
(五)Homework
1. 用正确的语音语调跟读本课文本。
2. 设计自己的机器人,画出思维导图,并写几句话来介绍。
