A Let’s learn & Ask and answer
一、教学目标:
1. 能够听、说、读、写五个描述人物年龄和性格等特征的单词:old, young, funny, kind, strict;
2. 能够在情景中正确运用上述词汇就某人的性格、外貌等特征提问并回答;
3. 能够运用上述词汇和句型 Who’s your...teacher Is he/she... 完成有关教师性格和外貌特征的问答活动。
二、教学重难点:
重点:
1. 听、说、读、写五个核心词汇old, young, funny, kind, strict;
2. 运用核心词汇就某人的性格、外貌等特征提问并回答:Who’s your art teacher Mr Jones. Is he young Yes, he is.
难点:
1. strict 的发音以及形的记忆;
2. 在情境中运用核心词汇就某人的性格、外貌等特征提问并回答。
三、教学准备:
教师准备几位任课教师的照片,本课PPT。
四、教学过程:
(一)Warm-up( Revision )
1. PPT播放A Let’s talk的对话。
教师提问:Who is their music teacher Is he young 引导学生回答:No, he isn’t. He’s old.教师说:Yes, Mr Young is old. 教师读单词,引导学生拼写。
3. 教师出示几幅人物图片,用句型 Is he /she old 提问,学生回答。
(二)Presentation and practice
1. 教师出示 Mr Jones的图片,提问:Who’s this man Is he old 然后引导学生回答并拼写单词young。教师利用课件呈现yes, you, you, yellow,帮助学生回顾字母y的发音。
2. 教师指着 Mr Jones的图片,提问:Is Mr Jones a science teacher or an art teacher 学生回答后,教师追问:But who is their science teacher 同时出示Mr Li, Miss Green和 Mrs Smith的图片,请学生用句型Is… a science teacher 猜测。教师说:I don’t know. Let’s ask Zhang Peng. 课前找一名同学扮演张鹏,学生问:Zhang Peng, who is your science teacher 张鹏回答:She is Miss Green.
3. 课件呈现 Miss Green的图片教师说:Is Miss Green young Is she tall 学生看图回答。教师引导学生用 Is she ... 提问,当有的学生问到funny或kind 时,教师及时板书,并教学单词的音,并引导学生拼写单词。
4. 教师然后依次出示 Miss White和Mr Li的图片,引导学生观察人物,然后描述人物的特征。Who is their PE teacher What’s he like Is he kind 学生看图回答No, he isn’t. 然后教师说:Sometimes he’s kind, but sometimes he is strict. 教师板书strict,教学单词的读音,尝试用自然拼读法来记忆单词的形。
5. 教师出示一些人物的图片,引导学生描述:He/she is kind/strict.
6. 教师出示 Mrs Smith的图片,提问:Who is Mrs Smith Please look at P5.请学生读 Ask and answer板块的对话并回答:She’s the head teacher. 教师提问:Who’s your head teacher 引导学生回答:What’s your head teacher like Is she/ he ... 引导学生回答。
(三)Consolidation and extension
1. 教师播放录音,学生跟读。
2. 教师出示几位任课教师的照片,与一名学生问答。然后同桌学生结对操练。
3. 教师描述几位同事,如:Your Chinese teacher has short hair. Mr… is tall and strong. Miss...is very kind, but sometimes she is strict. 请学生根据实际情况判断正误。
4. 同桌学生结对创编吴一凡和 Miss white相遇时谈论其他科目教师的对话。
5. 同学用所学词汇整合四年级的知识,介绍一位自己的好朋友,以手抄报的形式展示并介绍。
(四) Sum-up
教师带着学生总结本课所学的重点单词和句型。
(5) Homework
1. 正确朗读本课所学单词。
2. 抄写单词,掌握单词的形。
